find your talent and skills
MY PERSONAL GOALS AS A
STUDENT
An obvious goal as a youth that seek for a better job, of course to earn a degree. My
overall goal is no different than any other student. However, I also have several
personal goals I hope to achieve while attending the university. Some of these goals
are to acquire new skills and enhance my business abilities, to apply what I learn in the
classroom into my career, and to feel personal satisfaction of finishing something I just
started. Three skills I personally like to improve on are my organizational, time
management, and presentation skills.
1 ORGANIZATIONAL
SKILLS
Organizational skills are some of the
most important and transferable job
skills on employee can acquire.
They encompass a set of
capabilities that help a person to
plan, prioritize, and achieve his or
her goals. The university's
assignments need the students to
always work in a group as a team
and do some research together. So,
every students should grab the
opportunity to be a leader and form
a group. To be a better leader, I
need to know on how to influence
my peers. To be a leader also have
to make a decision for their group
and solve a problems. This sure can
help me to improve my
organizational skill.
Time
2 Management.
Being a students are
really stressful with many
assignment, test, group
project, event and others.
So, this is my opportunity
to improve my time
management skill by
creating my schedule,
make a to-do list, avoid
distraction and others. By
completing our work early
before the due date can
improve our time
management skills and
also can avoid us from
getting stress.
3 Presentation
Skills
Students also cannot avoid from doing
a presentation whether in group or
individually. By doing a presentation, I
can improve my communication skill,
my confidence level and also can add
my vocabulary in English and also
Malay.
In conclusion, I can improve my self a lot during my studies. I can use
this opportunity to achieve my goals to improve my organizational
skills, time management skills, and also presentation skills in order to
get a certificate in a degree during convocation. I have to make sure
that all of this soft-skills will be improved when I end my degree.

improvements over
