Activity / Progress

In week one of the new semester, my group under Project Coordinator. Then he briefed us
about course outline of the Project 2 and he also told us to standby with new syllabus of
template for logbook, project registration, gantt chart, and for the Final Report. In addition, he
always remind us to keep update about logbook because 35% of marks come from logbook
writing. And for this week there were have a webinar about the GPM Sustainability Award
2021, He suggest us to enter the Green Project Management (GPM) competition. One of the
features of the project is that there must be a sustainability impact.

Planning Next Week

I still have to make a new research about the appropriate components for my project ad
survey some stall about my project.

I have uploaded some materials regarding IOT project in Cidos and can be refer that
for your project also. Next week prepare your Ghantt chart for your project.

Activity / Progress

In week 2, the Project Coordinator decided to meet online. He explained what should we
prepared for this semester on Project 2 for score on this subject based on the Course outline
that have provided on Cidos. According to the synopsis project focuses on methods of circuit
construction, testing, troubleshooting, debugging, repair and also completion of the project
which was planned during the previous semester. I have download all of the new format of
template and do some improvement on my logbook and project registration.

Planning Next Week
I planned to review the project of Gps Tracker on electronic stuff and made some
improvement on my final report .

Activity / Progress

In week one of the new semester, my group under Project Coordinator. Then he briefed us

Activity / Progress

In week 4, our group have been told to prepare slide for our presetation of Project 2 and
here we present about each project and tell him about what are sustainability of our project.
And after that he explain one by want about criteria of Sustainability Development Goals for
our understanding. He also told us to find more about sustainability of our project for the
competition. And after that, i do some research about how far is the project can be track after
he ask about my project and told me to test it later. This week, I also learn about the concept
of the gps work while waiting my hardware order arrived. So ill just continue about my
research of coding and circuit construction.

Activity / Progress

In week 5, we had our meeting in the Microsoft team with our supervisor Mr. Murugan. We
discussed the sustainability of our project and recognized more new elements of
sustainability. We were able to understand the importance of the SDGs and we also identified
the element that we need to improve or focus on more in our project.

Activity / Progress

In week 6, so in this week my supervisor told us to complete or slide for presenting on GPM
awards so I have do it some to just completed it. Then I also try to complete my project
component with using the type of battery is 18650 Lithium ion battery to fit it on battery holder
and it is suitable. Then I just Soldering the pin holder on my Gsm and plug in some wires on
my GSM modules for the component assembly process. Then I just Think to make a hold on
my project cover use for my switch power.

Refer the final project report in Cidos. Complete your testing on GSM signal
and do some survey on your signal strength and distance for detect.

Activity / Progress

In week 7, so in this week my supervisor brief us about project 1 mini project that was been
made by online assessment. It was related to our project 2 which can made by PCB layout or
made one by one circuit and assemble. He also told us to made and video or picture as a
proof of made by ownself. and then we fix our slide of GPM award. After that, in this week im
also trying to make my own circuit using proteus but there was uncomplete item on the
software then im trying to ask some of my friend then he suggest me to using fritzing, without
any words I continued make circuit on fritzing with some of my knowledge to make
connection between component and I try to completed it even there is a little bit hard to use
the software.

Try to check my coding and change some of unused function.

Activity / Progress

In week 8, so in this week my supervisor want us to finalize the slide presentation of GPM
Awards while he check our slide. Some correction has been made after Ts murugan told the
plot that must be fix but there a lot thing to be fix then we proceed to record or presentation
slide to be submit after settle with slide correction. Then I personally went to made a research
for my circuit codding and some fix need to be made for my project. Then I still made some
research about Gps Codding ways made it success.

Activity / Progress

In week 9, so in this week my supervisor want use to made a Project Summary and need to
be check on online class while fix some of the verse then need to submit on CIDOS for our
project presentation registration. Then we brief about planning for the following week that
must be prepared. Then I personally need to reconstruct my project while I resolder it back
and record the process one by one. Then slowly I record one by one process then assemble
it into 3 section of video to facilitate understanding. Then its cover of project need to be made
by using drilling machine and not fully complete.

Went to Politeknik and face to face meeting with Ts Murugan to update about our project.
