Part of Speech คือสว่ นประโยคของคำพูด/ประโยค ได้แก่ noun, pronoun, adjective, verb, adverb,
preposition, conjunction และ interjection ซ่งึ คำเหล่านี้จะถูกนำมาประกอบเข้าดว้ ยกันตามโครงสรา้ งของภาษา
เพอื่ สรา้ งประโยค (sentence) สรา้ งอนปุ ระโยค (clause) หรือสร้างวลี (phrase) เพอ่ื ใช้ในการฟัง การพูด การอา่ น
การเขียนในชวี ติ ประจำวนั

1. Noun (คำนาม) คือคำพูดหรือคำศพั ท์ทใ่ี ช้เรยี กชื่อ คน สัตว์ หรือสงิ่ ของ เช่น
o Bangkok is the capital city of Thailand.
o The girl wrote a letter to her cousin.
o They left the house to go for a walk after tea.

2. Pronoun (คำสรรพนาม) คือคำพดู ท่ีใช้แทนคำนามที่ถูกเอ่ยถึงมาแลว้ อย่างน้อยหนึ่งครงั้ ได้แก่ I, You, We,
They, He, She, It ใชเ้ พอื่ หลกี เลี่ยงการพูดคำนามเดิม ๆ ซ้ำ ๆ เช่น

6. Preposition (คำบุพบท) คอื คำศัพท์ทใี่ ชว้ างไว้หน้าคำนามหรอื คำสรรพนาม เพ่ือแสดงความสัมพันธร์ ะหวา่ ง

7. Conjunction (คำสันธาน) คือคที่ใช้เชื่อมคำหรือเช่อื มประโยคเขา้ ดว้ ยกัน เช่น

8. Interjection (คำอุทาน) คือคำท่ีแสดงความรู้สึกอย่างฉับพลนั ทนั ทีทันใด โดยอาจเปน็ ความรูส้ กึ ตกใจ หรือ
ความรู้สกึ ดีใจ คำอทุ านจะใช้ในภาษาพดู มากทสี่ ุด เชน่
