Good Afternoon Pastor Ivy & Ms. Alice,
Words cannot express how much I enjoyed the services yesterday. I felt the spirit of the Lord as
I began approaching the church. When I crossed the threshold I felt the warmness of the
people, the excitement in the air, the music, and the closeness of family. Everything reminded
me of HOME. It was truly an honor and a Blessing for me to be there. So many things reminded
me of church when I was a little girl, especially the Hymns. Your church is so rich in history and

I am still floating on a high but just wanted to thank you and let you know that I cannot stop
thinking about the Word that I received and the entire service. I am so happy that I was able to
attend on behalf of the Chair and what a treat he missed.. I plan to come back again and
worship with you and plan on inviting you to my church, Third Baptist Church in Alexandria VA,
where my Pastor is the Reverend James V. Jordan.
Pastor Ivy, you and your church just made me feel welcome and I can’t stop smiling. Just
overwhelmed with Joy! May God continue to Bless All of You.
