FAITH & INSPIRATION YOUR GUIDE TO GRO W ING & GLO W ING IN YOUR FAIRH JOURNEY E X E R C I S E Y O U R F A I TH INF LUENCHER SPRING ‘24

Pearls are a product of pain, the result of a foreign or unwanted substance entering the oyster, such as a parasite or a grain of sand. The inside of an oyster shell is a shiny substance called “nacre.” When a grain of sand enters, the nacre cells go to work & cover the grain of sand with layers & more layers to protect the defenseless body of the oyster. As a result, a beautiful pearl is formed! “Did you know….An oyster that has not been wounded in any way does not produce pearls? A pearl is a healed wound. PAIN HAS A PURPOSE The more pearls, the more valuable…God never allows pain without a purpose. What if your greatest ministry to others comes out of your greatest hurt? The hard things we may be going through now are really nothing in comparison to the glory that will be revealed in us later. (Romans 8:17-18)” D AUTHOR UNKNOWN You Are a Rare Jewel READ THAT AGAIN

The concept of pain yielding purpose, much like an oyster producing pearls, underscores the profound truth that our most challenging experiences can lead to our greatest growth and contribution. Just as an oyster transforms an irritant into a thing of beauty, we too have the power to turn our struggles into something valuable and meaningful. As influencers, we bear a responsibility to use our platforms to uplift and support others in their journey of healing and transformation. By sharing our own stories of overcoming adversity and finding purpose in pain, we can inspire and empower others to do the same. Our ability to turn pain into purpose not only enriches our own lives but also serves as a beacon of hope for those navigating their own challenges. Together, let us embrace the transformative power of our experiences and shine brightly as beacons of resilience and compassion in the lives of others. reflection Pain + Purpose = Influence Caige Phoenix

Unstoppable women Shelly Tutt Spring 2024 “Thriving Against All Odds”

Don’t quit Unstoppable In a world where challenges seem to outnumber the stars in the sky, where the path to success appears riddled with obstacles, it's easy to feel overwhelmed, disheartened, or even tempted to give up. But, against all odds, in the face of adversity, lies the profound truth: anything is possible if you don't quit. For the women who often find themselves persevering without adequate support emotionally and financially, this message resonates deeply. As an empowerment coach dedicated to guiding women into the powerhouses they are created to be, I invite you to embark on a journey of growth, learning, overcoming, and ultimately, winning. To grow is to evolve. It's a metamorphosis of becoming. What can we look forward to without growth. It's embracing the relentless pursuit of self-improvement in every facet of our lives. It's about nurturing our minds with knowledge, our emotions with resilience, our spirits with faith, our finances with wisdom, our relationships with love, and our health with care. Proverbs 31:25 reminds us, "She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future." Let us draw strength from within, knowing that our capacity to grow knows no bounds. As we grow and nurture ourselves and our dreams, life becomes more fulfilling and enriched. Grow

To overcome is to conquer the obstacles that stand between us and the things we desire. It's facing adversity head-on, refusing to be defined by our circumstances, and emerging stronger on the other side. Romans 8:37 assures us, "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." Remember, the challenges we encounter are not meant to defeat us but to refine us. Always extract the lesson from the challenge. With faith as our compass and perseverance as our guide, we can overcome any obstacle that dares to block our path. Learn Learning is the cornerstone of personal development and progress. Without learning, life feels like being stuck on a hamster wheel. It's about seeking knowledge, gaining insights, and honing our skills with unwavering determination. Proverbs 18:15 affirms, “An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge." Embrace each opportunity to learn, whether through formal education, life experiences, or the wisdom of others. Every lesson learned brings us one step closer to our goals, empowering us to navigate the complexities of life with grace and resilience. Overcome

As we journey through life, let us remember that against all odds, anything is possible if we don't quit. Embrace the challenges, for they are the catalysts for growth, learning, and ultimately, triumph. As an empowerment coach committed to supporting and encouraging women on their path to greatness, I invite you to rise above adversity, unleash your full potential, and become the powerhouse you were created to be. Together, let us foster a future of collective success, where every woman is empowered to thrive and shine brightly, illuminating the world with her brilliance. Win Winning is not merely about achieving victory but also about embodying the spirit of resilience, determination, and perseverance. It's about embracing our inherent worth and potential, regardless of the odds stacked against us. Philippians 4:13 declares, "I can do all things through him who strengthens me." Believe in your ability to succeed, even when the world tells you otherwise. Celebrate every triumph, no matter how small, for each victory is a testament to your unconquerable spirit and unyielding resolve. Shelly Tut

HOLDING ON TO HOPE FAITH EMERGING NAVIGATING SEASONS OF SUFFERING WITH TRUST IN GOD WRITTEN BY:CAIGE PHOENIX @InfluencHERlifestyle "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18 In the quiet moments of one of my most recent devotion times, I found myself immersed in a passage about holding on to hope amidst trials. It spoke of suffering, how it births perseverance, which in turn shapes character, ultimately leading to hope. Yet, as I pondered these words, I couldn't help but reflect on the times when the weight of suffering threatened to overwhelm me, halting my journey towards perseverance and character. It's in those seasons of extreme suffering that the true test of faith emerges. We're called to persevere, to endure the storm knowing that it will refine us, molding our character into something beautiful. But oftentimes, the road becomes too arduous, and we grow weary. We're tempted to quit, to give in to exhaustion, and in doing so, we inadvertently stall our progress. It's akin to a car with a failing alternator—unable to move forward without the necessary power. Similarly, when we allow ourselves to become stagnant in our pursuit of perseverance, our hope begins to wane. We lose sight of the promises ahead, forgetting the vision that once propelled us forward.

HE HOLDS OUR FUTURE HOLDING ON TO HOPE CONT’D WRITTEN BY:CAIGE PHOENIX @InfluencHERlifestyle Yet, it is precisely in these moments that we must learn to trust in God's plan. It's a surrendering of our own strength, acknowledging that His power is made perfect in our weakness. Trusting in Him means releasing our grip on control, allowing Him to guide us through the darkest of valleys. For it's in the depths of suffering that our faith is tested and refined. It's where we learn to lean on God, finding solace in His promises even when the path ahead seems uncertain. And as we surrender to His will, we find renewed strength to press on, knowing that He is faithful to lead us to the other side. As we navigate through the trials of life, let us hold fast to hope, trusting in the One who holds our future in His hands. May we find courage in the midst of suffering, knowing that our perseverance will ultimately lead to the fruition of character, and that our hope in God will never disappoint. InfluencHER Magazine stands as a beacon of empowerment and inspiration for women everywhere. It is my hope that this reflection on trusting God amidst suffering resonates with our readers, reminding them of the power of perseverance and the importance of holding on to hope. Caige Phoenix

“A Journey of SelfDiscovery and Recharging" Finding Grace and Rest in the Waves: Since when has vacation seemed more like being a part of a herd of sheep pushing their way through the crowds? I asked myself this question recently on one of our family vacations. I always look forward to spending time with my family that allows me to focus on having fun and relaxing together, but where are all the people coming from? I felt so guilty for asking myself this question; and knowing that I am not in any way more important than anyone else, I felt so ashamed that this thought had even crossed my mind. What does my thought even mean? Was I just aggravated with all the traffic and waiting in lines? Traffic and long lines can be expected when traveling, so why am I so frustrated? Why am I comparing all of God’s people to a herd of animals? According to Wikipedia, a herd is a group of certain animals or a crowd of people that are gregarious or sociable. Well, that explains it, I am not comfortable in crowds, and I am not as sociable as I would like to be. Even writing this article is difficult because I do not feel like I have anything to influence others. I am not in a place of overcoming or healing yet, and my journey does not seem shareable. See, it is thoughts like these that make me feel separated from everyone else, like looking in from the outside at everyone enjoying life and it looks like they just have their lives together. How can I encourage others when I do not feel like I have found my own voice? Written By: Kiley Jeffries I didn’t realize how taking a vacation, or just a brief time to go out and recharge away from home is so important for me. This may be the case for so many of us now that we can work from home, educate ourselves from home, attend meetings and church from home, shop from home and have everything delivered right to our door; all with the convenience of saving our time and not having to go anywhere. I realized sitting in the sand listening to the sound of the waves, that I need another space to recharge since everything I do is from the comforts of home. I have always needed that break from home responsibilities, but this seemed different. I realize that I have grown even more comfortable avoiding crowds and socializing.

I understand how much I appreciate those who are kind and loving towards me in the world, and I realized that I need to create spaces back home, where I leave home and recharge. I shouldn’t only be recharging once or twice a year on vacation. God has shown us in Genesis how it is important to rest fully one day a week. How can I live in a world that allows me to not have to leave home to provide for my family, or take time to go grocery shopping, and not feel rested or have patience and love for others when I do leave home? One of my favorite things to do is garden! I love playing in the dirt and not feeling like I have to clean it up. I love planting seeds and waiting to see the outcome. There is so much beauty in gardening. I find peace thinking of what Emilie Barnes calls “time the way God created it: as a servant and not a master,” in her book Time Began in a Garden. Isn’t that beautiful! Time started in the garden, and I love that it did. Gardening teaches us so much. We must act by planting a seed, tend to what we have planted over time, (not all in one day), and trust that what we have planted will grow from our love, patience, and work. When I am around others, I can plant a seed of grace and forgiveness, and God will take care of the rest. I recently purchased a winter green called Cherry Berries. The plant is so unique and fun! In the summer it blooms white bell-shaped flowers, in the winter the green leaves turn a beautiful merlot, red edible berries produced from fall to spring, and you can crush the leaves for a minty smell. How unique is this! Like each one of us, unique with so much to offer to help and love one another. May we each find the rest we need in God’s presence, safe spaces to recharge, and the energy to offer others the same grace and forgiveness that our Lord and savior Jesus Christ has given to us. God didn’t design us this way, to avoid others, and my patience and grace towards his children had worn too thin. We are all here for a purpose and I didn’t like looking at people like they were in the way, even if for a moment, I didn’t like the feeling. Each of us on that beach, people on vacation, or people just enjoying living where the waves are louder than the worries of this world, are trying to enjoy life as the best versions of themselves. Scripture tells us to love one another, be humble, offering grace and forgiveness. I believe I can influence others, by loving them because God first loved me, and humbling myself to offer grace, and let’s be honest, forgiveness in the traffic and long lines. Being social may come easy for some, but for myself I am a true introvert, losing energy quickly when I am in a crowd, and feeling completely drained once I am back in my safe space. With Love In Christ, Kiley Jeffries

G . L . O . W . of the Month MEET OUR SPRIN G ‘24 APRIL LaWanda Tillett It is hard to believe that it is already Spring! It is an amazing time of renewal and refreshing. The days are longer, and we have the desire to be outside and inhale the beauty and fragrance of the season and experience the soft gentle breeze. As it is with the signaling of a new season, so it is with our Spring InfluencHER of the Month, Christal Jordan (Jennings). This amazing #1 Amazon Best-Selling Author, TedX speaker, host and public relations expert is bringing women into a renaissance era of being soft. We had the blessing of chatting with her to talk about encouraging women, having conversations about relationships, inspiring women to be positive, the power of influence and her new book, ‘Dear Alpha Female: It’s not him it’s You.’ Here is a little of what she had to share. C URATED BY: “Ushering in the Era of Soft”

At this point in my life, because I worked with media, I understand the power and the influence that media, celebrities, and messages have. I realized that I needed to do something that would really allow me to give back. Working in publicity, there were times when the imaging and the messaging was not necessarily one that I believed in. I wanted to influence people in a positive light and have the ability to be able to write stories that are encouraging and show people all of the examples of Black Excellence that there are. That’s why I have pivoted to my first love, which is writing. Majority of what I do now is really spent encouraging women, having the conversations about relationships, and pushing women to be positive. We kind of bought into the myth of the “black superwoman” which is not true! I felt that the message should come from black women that we need rest. We need to smell the flowers and remember that life is not promised. Balance is key to having a healthy relationship with self and others. WHAT WAS Y O UR “WHY” F O R PIV O TIN G FR OM PUBLI C RELATI O NS T O F O C USIN G MO RE O N WRITIN G ? As a single mom and an entrepreneur, owner of a small business here in Atlanta, I didn’t get to experience that “soft life.” Eventually, I learned that the lack of that experience was keeping me from being able to enjoy a balanced life, one that would really serve myself and it was keeping me single (chuckles). Most of my girlfriends were just like me in that we worked all the time, and it was like our “badge of honor,” but very few of us had balance.

For myself, I was raised by a single mother who was also raised by a single mother. So, a lot of the messages that I heard early on were, “don’t trust a man” and “make sure that you’re ok without one.” Even though that does seem empowering in a lot of ways, it worked to make me feel that men were an option and not necessarily someone to trust and believe in. Writing the book, I knew it was necessary because like I said, I’m writing about myself, my girlfriends, and my colleagues. Even more so now after going through the experience, changing my outlook and the way I did things, I realized how a lot of my being single, a lot of my friends and my sisters being single required us to look in the mirror. There comes a point in time when you’re consistently single, that you have to look at yourself. Many times, the first thing we think of is that maybe we need to lose weight or that we need to work on our external because we know men are visual. But when you’re honest, mature and get down to the “nitty gritty” of it, people, men specifically, are attracted to things, but do not stay with women that don’t make them feel wanted or needed. A lot of the times, women will opt to work on the external because those things are easy. It’s easier to work on making sure that you’re working out because that really doesn’t make you look at self and do selfintrospection and deal with whatever baggage that traces as far back as our childhood. REDEF ININ G WHAT IT MEANS TO BE AN INFLUEN C ER @InfluencHERlifestyle | [email protected] TELL US AB O UT Y O UR B O O K, ‘DEAR ALPHA FEMALE: IT’S N O T HIM, IT’S Y O U. ’

When I got married the first time, I was really young and still relying on myself because I had all of the words that my grandmother had said, “make sure that you don’t ever trust a man 100%.” So, when the marriage ended, even though I was heartbroken, I really think I expected that. I really think that my purpose now is to be a part of relearning and reteaching, specifically women of color. Where we are now, we’re in a different space where we have to be open to relearning and reeducating ourselves on how to love each other in ways that makes sense for where we are right now. I see so many amazing, beautiful women that are afraid to open up and there are so many amazing men who would love to be a great partner to these women, but they feel that they’re not wanted and that there isn’t any space for them. I want to be a part of changing that narrative. Once I changed my words, I changed the way I spoke about men and relationships. Then I began to believe that I was worthy of this relationship that I had never seen. Falling in love does require you to be open to the possibility that things may not go picture perfect. We also have to be willing to understand that we may not be perfect either. Even though you may have amassed what you think is perfection, physically, it may be from the things that you have and accumulated and your degrees and your job, it still doesn’t translate to you being wife material. What makes you wife material is being a help mate and a partner that understands, that is communicative, that knows how to listen, that realizes it’s a “give and take.” TELL US AB O UT Y O UR B O O K, ‘DEAR ALPHA FEMALE: IT’S N O T HIM, IT’S Y O U. ’ If you’re not willing to serve and find someone that you’re willing to be in a relationship with, willing to look out for and put that person first, then you’re not ready. If you’re not willing to give, be open and flexible and compromise, then those things are keeping you from being in the relationship of your dreams.

I’m hoping that women can take the fact that I’m saying that I was this woman, Alpha Female. I was single forever. After a conversation with Iyanla Vanzant, went to therapy and did the work. Two years later, I was able to marry the man of my dreams. It’s not necessarily that the man is the prize, but my life started to change in that he helped me to find more balance between life and work. I’m an example of what was wrong, it was me! So, I’m saying that in full transparency and encouraging other women to learn from my mistake, so they don’t have to repeat some of my mistakes and stay single for as long as I did. Women are more inclined to want to feel secure. By that same token, men are looking for a soft place to lay and a soft place to land. That’s something that they don’t have. They do have the ability to earn and conquer. So, if you’re coming to the table with the same thing that they’re offering, then there really isn’t a need for the relationship. I have heard so many women say that the man is intimidated. The truth is he just wants balance. They want a partner that can be confident and at the same time be nurturing and catering in a relationship. (Laughing) Well, I will say that I am surrounded by a lot of Alpha Females. The women around me are very opinionated to the point that were sometimes at each other (jokingly). Many of them were not open to it and that’s why I know that it’s important. To be very honest with you, I wasn’t open to it until I had the experience. They were very resistant to this message due to being told for so long that something was wrong with us. Because of that, we lean in and become stronger, work harder, and become the over achiever. So, as a black woman, sometimes when we’re told that we’re wrong, instead of leaning in and listening, that defense comes up. THR O U G H Y O UR EXPERIEN C E, WHAT ARE MEN L O O KIN G F O R THAT Y O U HAVE F O UND T O BE TRUE? H OW DID THE WOMEN IN Y O UR LIFE REA C T T O Y O UR B O O K? WHAT D O ES IT MEAN T O Y O U T O BE O UR INFLUEN C HER THIS ISSUE? It means a lot because I feel that sister support is the best support. So, when you’re honored by or recognized by people that are your peers or colleagues, it means more than anything. I also feel that, as black women, we’re powerful and I think it’s exciting right now because so many of us are realizing how influential we are! As a collective, we have figured out how to be impactful and successful. That is really something to celebrate. When I see platforms like this that are celebrating black women for the positive and progressive influence that we’re being and black excellence, it really means a lot and I’m honored. I’m not here trying to promote perfection. I am not my sister’s keeper; I am my sister. If I keep my flaws and my losses from her, then she can’t win, and I can’t either if she won’t share with me. Influence is one of the most powerful things we have outside of love. As black women, we are that voice that the world looks to really stand up and be convict others do the right thing. Up Close & Personal with DeBlair Tate When you consider the definition of resilience, an ability to recover from or adjust easily to misfortune or change, one can see how DeBlair Tate is an example of resilience. Our Spring issue Community EmpowerHER is reshaping her community with resilience both personally and professionally. Ms. Tate is the author of Resilient As F*uck and Level Up: 365 Days to Empowered Living, owner of the 8Figured Brand and the creator of the RAF Conference. Not to be limited to anyone’s expectations, DeBlair is not only a community advocate, but she is also a First Sergeant Military Training Instructor in the U.S. Air Force, a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc, and owner of her allfemale motorcycle club. DeBlair sat down with us to talk about resilience, her community impact and more. Here is a sneak peak of our conversation. I’ve always done things in the community. It started when I was a little girl in the Brownie Troop and then when I got older, I was active in 4-H. We were constantly doing community service. It’s just how I grew up and how my family had me involved. As for my involvement now, it started with me realizing that my city, in Mississippi, was one of the highest for obesity. I moved to Atlanta and got heavy into health and wellness. Whenever I would go home, friends and family would say “I want to lose weight” because they had been following my fitness journey and competitions. I started creating programs because I felt like I could do more. What motivated you to take action in your community beyond serving our country in the US Air Force? RESHAPING THE COMMUNITY WITH RESILIENCE Community EmpowHERment

I T S T A R T E D W I T H M E J U S T W A N T I N G T O R E A C H B A C K T O M Y C I T Y . . . . "Empowerment comes from within, but it flourishes when we uplift and support each other in our community." InfluencHER Lifestyle So, I started doing 3-Day workshops where I would do workouts and answer questions regarding them maintaining their health. I felt if they were asking questions about it and that was our #1 problem there, that I could do my little part. I never thought it would grow to be what it is now. Then I started developing a program where, online, they could work with me, and I had it at a, very, very low cost. I started out doing it for free and saw that they were falling off and not taking it seriously. However, I learned if you put a price on something, people will commit to it more. It started with me just wanting to reach back to my city. I wasn’t even thinking about it expanding it across the world like it is now. It was strictly about me wanting to go back to where I came from and target those that wanted to be educated and wanted to be better. They just needed that accountability partner, and I was going to be that for them.

D E B L A I R T A T E C O N T ’ D When I started my programs, it strictly started out as lose weight. It’s kind of two-fold. In the process of me doing that I was a personal trainer here in Atlanta. So was acclimated to being with someone in person. In the same sense, I still couldn’t understand why you would come to the gym, you would workout, but you still had other issues that we weren’t tackling. You were coming, but mentally, things were going on. So, I needed to tap into the mental health side of things. I needed to figure out what causes you to feel the way you do because my workout sessions started turning into therapy sessions. This prompted me to do research and studies and ended up getting certifications to be able to help in that realm. I was already doing it in the military as a mental health advocate. So, I started incorporating that and added time to my program because I started working on the mindset, the resiliency piece and mental health and that’s why it grew into what it is today. It’s funny that fitness isn’t even the most important part anymore. When we’re doing our coaching sessions and our call within the program, we hit the mental health real heavy. Once you get that situated, everything else starts to fall in place. (Chuckling) I had to pull out all the skills. Let me tell you, the hardest part was not responding to the negativity watching it playout in social media and in the comments. The me that handled the negativity then is not the me I used to be. That me would have driven there (back to my hometown) and confronted the situation. I’m just being honest because it shows the growth that I had. I had to really just sit there and let God handle this. Me speaking, would have been feeding life into the negativity. I felt like the people that were following me, my clients, me as a coach, they were watching how I was going to respond. Now that I think about it, I’m glad that it happened because it showed that no matter who you are, it doesn’t dismiss you from life happening. It’s all about showing these moments that cause people to respect and appreciate you. I’m not going to pretend that it didn’t happen just because I’m this positive advocate to the community. Life still happens to me, and I’m being tested on a regular basis. How did the 8Figured Brand come together? As an advocate for positive change, how did you handle negativity?

That’s what I think influencing is. You can be an influencer, but just be popular and you’re not doing anything to shape the next person. It no longer becomes about you. Anything that you do is about how you’re pouring into, how you’re helping others and following up. It’s not just speaking about it, but putting communities, programs, and conferences in place along with being available so that you’re making an impact on others. DeBlair Tate may be known for doing many things-entrepreneur, speaker, author, coach, professional figure competitor and more. What sums them all together is the undeniable fact that she is here to affect change wherever she goes through Resiliency. She is indeed a force for such a time as this. You can keep up with her on Instagram @iamdeblair, Facebook at DeBlair Tate and on her website, http://8figured.com As always, you can stay connected with us on Facebook at InfluencHER Lifestyle Magazine Network and on Instagram @Influencherlifestyle. You are enough right now in this moment to make an impact. Remember to InfluencHER wherever you go! I feel that influence is the amount of people you’re able to help affect change. Not just talking the talk, but also following up to make sure that you’re actually reaching the people that you need to reach. It’s one thing to get people motivated, but it’s another thing to follow through and make sure that they are taking the proper measures to be healthy. Your words-are they actively being executed. The things that you’re teaching and the things that you’re saying-are you actively making a difference in order for them to be able to pay it forward. If I’m able to help a community of people and they get to a healthy place, then they’re in a position to help more people and we’re continuing to pass it on. Now we have a larger community of people that’s able to push the word out. Written by LaWanda Tillett As an advocate for positive change, how did you handle negativity?

Home Magazine January Edition | page 2 ather than diving into the latest diet trends promising rapid weight loss, I focused on cultivating habits that would create lasting change. It wasn’t about quick fixes or drastic measures; it was about embracing a lifestyle that nourished my body, mind, and soul. R our years ago, I found myself at a crossroads in my health journey. At 348 pounds, I knew I needed a change, but the cycle of fad diets and restrictive eating had left me feeling defeated and disheartened. It was then that I realized the pivotal shift needed: replacing diet culture with a sustainable lifestyle approach. F By: Caige Phoenix TransformHER My Journey: Replacing Diet Culture with Sustainable Living to Achieve Health Goals

L I F E S T Y L E S H I F T S Mindset Transformation: Shifting away from the diet mindset was a game-changer. Instead of viewing food as the enemy or labeling certain foods as forbidden, I began to see food as fuel for my body. I learned to appreciate the value of whole, nutritious foods without demonizing the occasional indulgence. This mental shift helped me break free from the guilt and shame associated with eating and empowered me to make mindful choices. Building Sustainable Habits: Rather than following rigid meal plans or extreme calorie counting, I focused on creating sustainable habits. I incorporated regular exercise that I enjoyed, be it walking, dancing, or weight training, making fitness a part of my daily routine. I prioritized whole foods, filling my plate with colorful vegetables, lean proteins, and wholesome grains, aiming for balance and moderation instead of deprivation. Embracing Balance and Flexibility: Diet culture often promotes an all-or-nothing mentality, but I discovered the power of balance and flexibility. I allowed myself to enjoy celebrations and social gatherings without feeling restricted. Learning to listen to my body's cues helped me understand when I was genuinely hungry versus emotionally driven to eat, allowing me to make choices aligned with my goals without feeling deprived. Mindful Wellness as a Lifestyle: Most importantly, I realized that achieving and maintaining a healthy weight wasn’t just about the number on the scale. It was about holistic well-being—mental clarity, emotional resilience, and physical strength. I prioritized sleep, managed stress through meditation and hobbies, and cultivated a positive relationship with my body, appreciating its capabilities beyond appearance.
