If you have decided to defer your offer of entry for the First Semester or Academic Year, you are required to submit in writing your request to: Miss Georgia Bennett Assistant Registrar Office of Graduate Studies and Research The University of the West Indies, Mona, Kingston 7 General Orientation for New Graduate Students: August 31, 2023 (Hybrid) Registration: You are required to register annually (each Semester) until your degree is awarded and pay the appropriate fees. Your department will communicate with you regarding the courses you will be pursuing for the academic year. Pay attention to deadline dates for registration such as ADD and/or DROP courses. Pay attention to penalty fees for late registration. After you have accepted our offer and completed the registration process, you will be automatically assigned a UWI email address (e.g. [email protected]). You will receive an email from our MITS department informing you of your actual official UWI email address as well as a randomly generated password. This email address will be used to communicate with you about what is happening on the Campus. MITS website is https://www.mona.uwi.edu/mits/. At least a month before your final examinations commence, check on the Student Administration System (SAS) to ensure that you are registered for all the courses you are pursuing for that Semester.
