المقدمة ّ تفخـر جامعـة البحريـن بطرحهـا لبرامـج أكاديميـة متنوعـة تلبـي احتياجـات سـوق العمـل، وتضاهـي كبريـات الجامعـات العالميـة فـي فتـح آفـاق التنـوع فـي التخصصـات التـي تقدمهـا لطلبـة وطالبـات الجامعـة فـي مملكـة البحريـن. تعتبـر كليـة اآلداب -ومـن خـال اشـتمالها علـى التخصصـات اإلنسـانية وعلومهـا- ً مصــدر ً ا هامــا لخلــق ذلــك الربــط بيــن الجانــب المعرفــي اإلنســاني، والجانــب العلمــي والتكنولوجــي لــدى المتعلــم. ولكليــة اآلداب عراقــة تمتــد جذورهــا إلــى بدايـات تأسـيس جامعـة البحريـن فـي عـام 1986 . ّ وهـي سـعت منـذ بداياتهـا ألن ترس ّ ـخ وتقـدم البرامـج األكاديميـة األصيلـة، كمـا أنهـا مسـتمرة فـي البحـث عـن ُ كل مـا مـن شـأنه مواكبـة التطـور فـي التخصصـات التـي تحتضنهـا، مراعيـة فـي ذلـك ضـرورات التنميـة البشـرية لمملكـة البحريـن وبمـا يتناسـب مـع مـا يطـرح فـي مثيالتهـا مـن الجامعـات فـي العالـم أجمـع. مـن هـذا المنطلـق أعلنـت كليـة اآلداب عـن طـرح برنامـج البكالوريـوس فـي الفنـون والتصميـم فـي العـام ً حيـث طبيعـة مقرراتـه التـي تدمـج بيـن أصالـة الفنـون الجميلـة وبيـن حداثـة التصميـم الجرافيكـي، محقق ً ـا فـي ذلـك التكامـل الـذي يفتقـره كل جانـب، ومتيحـا الدراسـي 2014 /2015 ليتـم قبـول الدفعـة األولـى فـي سـبتمبر 2015 .ويعتبـر برنامـج البكالوريـوس فـي الفنـون والتصميـم مـن البرامـج الرائـدة فـي المنطقـة مـن فـي الوقـت ذاتـه الخيـار أمـام الطالـب الختيـار المسـار الـذي يجـد طاقاتـه وموهبتـه فيـه بعـد أن يكـون قـد حصـل علـى قاعـدة صلبـة مـن أساسـيات التخصـص ً اآلخـر. ونظـرا لخصوصيـة هـذا البرنامـج الـذي يشـتمل علـى موضوعـات ومقـررات عمليـة ونظريـة تعتمـد علـى قـدرات ومهـارات خاصـة، فقـد رأى القائمـون ً علـى إعـداد البرنامـج )وحسـب مـا هـو متعـارف عليـه عالمي ّ ـا( أن يخضـع المتقـدم المتحـان يقيـس مهاراتـه وقدراتـه وثقافتـه الفنيـة، وتفكيـره اإلبداعـي. وأن ّ يجتـاز المقابلـة الشـخصي ّ ة التـي تقيـس قـدرة المتقـدم علـى التعبيـر والصياغـة اللغويـة الصحيحـة باللغتيـن العربيـة واالنجليزيـة. ُ ممــا ي ّ لفــت األنظــار إلــى برنامــج البكالوريــوس فــي الفنــون والتصميــم أنــه يقــدم حزمــة مــن المقــررات التــي تتــدرج فــي صقــل الموهبــة وتهذيــب المهــارة، وفتـح آفـاق التجريـب واالطـاع علـى التجـارب الفنيـة اإلنسـانية فـي كل المياديـن المتاحـة. وتقـدم للطـاب -مـن خـا ً ل المشـاريع المطلوبـة- فرصـا لسـبر أغــوار الحــواس اإلنســانية وتقاطعاتهــا، وتحــدي النفــس مــن خــا ِ ل العمــل علــى تقديــم كل مــا يتصــف بالج ّ ــد ّ ة والفــرادة والتميــز. وهــي تركــز كذلــك علــى حـل المشـكالت وامتـاك األسـس الصحيحـة للبحـث العلمـي وإلجـراء النقـد الفنـي والتحليـل الموضوعـي لكافـة مـا يختـص بالفنـون الجميلـة والتصميـم ّ الجرافيكـي. ورغـم حداثـة هـذا البرنامـج إال أن بـوادر التميـز واإلبـداع بـدت ظاهـرة مـن خـال األعمـال التـي ينجزهـا الطـاب والطالبـات، ومـن خـال نشـاطهم ُطـرح فـي جامعـة البحريـن. أتمنـى لهـذا البرنامـج االزدهـار الملحـوظ فـي المسـاهمة مـع زمالئهـم مـن التخصصـات األخـرى فـي المشـاريع والمسـابقات التـي ت والتقـدم، وأن يسـاهم خريجـوه فـي رفـد سـوق العمـل والحركـة الفنيـة بالمتميـز واإلبـداع والمحافظـة علـى إرث البحريـن وصورتهـا ومكانتهـا الفنيـة، والبحـث الدائـم عـن حلـول ابتكاريـة وإبداعيـة ال تشـبه غيرهـا.
