AUTHOR
Dr Norliza binti Mohd Isa currently a Senior Lecturer at the
Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying (Landscape
Architecture) at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). She holds
a Doctor of Philosophy (2015) in Built Environment from
International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Master of
Architecture (2009), Bachelor of Architecture (2007) and Diploma
in Architecture (2004) from UTM. Among the academic and
teaching awards she has achieved are; Best Student: Doctor of
Philosophy, Kulliyah of Architecture and Environmental Design
(2015), Teaching Award 2019- Science Technology Category,
UTM, Writer's Award in Indexed Journals, UTM and Special
Award of the Minister of Education, Curriculum Design and
Innovative Delivery (AKRI 2019). Her research interest and
specialization are in Islamic Built Environment, Design & Learning
