Green Curtains Performs “The Savannah Sipping Society” to Sold Out Crowds! by KATHY GODBY IN EARLY NOVEMBER 2022, SLV’s Green Curtains Performance Theater produced the fulllength comedy, The Savannah Sipping Society, by Jesse Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten. The production is the story of four unique southern women, needing to escape the sameness of their day-to-day routines, drawn together by fate—and an impromptu happy hour—decides it is high time to reclaim the enthusiasm for life they have lost through the years. Over the course of six months, that were filled with laughter, hilarious misadventures, and occasional liquid refreshments, these middle-aged women successfully bond and jumpstart their new lives. The play was performed by special arrangement with the Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York. The show ran for three evenings and played to a sold out crowd each performance. Randa was played by Rose Connor, Dot by Cindi Smith, Marlafaye by Kathy Godby, and Jinx by Carol McKloskey. Director, David McKloskey, was greatly assisted by Artistic Director, Dan Tutt. Ilene Ciperson and Laura Moberly were tremendous assets as Stage and Prop Managers. Special thanks to artist Mike Mineo for designing and painting the sets; Audio Engineer York Rushin; Lighting crew of Russ Griffeth, Kim Woodard, and Michele Williams; Prompter Joby Brown; Construction Manager Sean Boyce and crew of Pat Dundon, Dale Godby and David McKloskey; Wardrobe assistants Martha Croswell, Patty Wakefield, Betsy Boatz, Joby Brown, Lynn Flom and Geri Huminski; Stage crew David Flom, Bill Freibert, David Merrills, and Frank Seminski; Video producer Vicki Aleck. Special thanks to Jennifer Posillico, The Hair Genie. Cameo appearance by MaryRuth Haworth. As Director David McKloskey shared, “This show presented an added challenge for us as the actors were required to change costumes 7 to 8 times each and quickly return to stage. We were able to pull this off with the help of our incredible wardrobe assistants.” Green Curtains is now in the planning stages of our next production in the spring of 2023, “An Evening of Comedy III.” All types of volunteers are needed for a successful community theater including: Actors, Directors, Producers, Artists, Lighting Technicians, Audio Technicians, Stage Managers, Props Managers, Stage Crews, Designers, Construction, Costumes, Make-up, etc. Due to the success of the show, Green Curtains was able to donate to two local groups: Arts in Basic Curriculum and The Back Pack Ministry. The ABC program is a 5-Year Strategic Arts Education Plan in partnership with the McCormick Arts Council and the McCormick School District. Backpack was organized and incorporated as a non-profit in 2015, providing weekend food to over 140 children with over 50 volunteers picking up food, packing and making deliveries to school. Did you know? GREEN CURTAINS HAS donated over $17,000 to various local charities since March, 2019? The list of local charities includes The Lydia Project-CSRA GYN Cancer Support, McCormick Food Pantry, McCormick Meals on Wheels, SLV Veterans Outreach, AAMC Foundation, McCormick Humane Society, New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, McCormick First Responders, Arts in the Basic Curriculum, and the Back Pack Ministry. Any member of the cast or crew is invited to nominate a local charity group of their choice. Nominations and awards are finalized by the Green Curtains Board of Directors. When a small group began Green Curtains in the dining room of Jane Coolidge’s home in March 2017, we had hoped through our success we would be able to give back to our community. Thanks to our loyal audiences, our awesome volunteers, donations from crew and cast members, repurposing of sets, and bargain shopping, we have been able to keep production costs at a minimum. MACK: Creativity requires representation and inclusion! WE WISH TO thank every unique member and supporter of the MACK. In order for communities to have a sustainable future, the various voices within communities need to have a place to share ideas and participate freely. Our leadership team has advanced a bold vision and new mission to lead our organization into a healthy, happy and sustainable future. Statement on Diversity, Equity, Access and Inclusion THE McCORMICK ARTS Council at the Keturah (MACK) is committed to diversity, equity, and accessibility, inclusion for the spectrum of need, beliefs, and values of all individuals and groups. We intend to be a model leader for efforts that foster mutual respect for the diverse beliefs and values of all persons and groups. By establishing an accessible, diverse, inclusive, and equal system of organizational policies, practices, and procedures we can better attain an equitable cultural center. Diversity is the range of human differences, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, social class, physical ability or attributes, religious or ethical values system, national origin, and political beliefs. Equity ensures that all people—including but not limited to those who have been historically underrepresented based on race/ethnicity, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, socioeconomic status, geography, citizenship status, or religion—are represented in the development of arts policy; the support of artists; the nurturing of accessible, thriving venues for expression; and the fair distribution of programmatic, financial, and informational resources. Access is the ability to freely approach or enter a place. To properly gain access to an organization means to be able to enter and use the facilities and programs offered. Inclusion is the practice or policy of providing equal access to opportunities and resources for all people who might otherwise be excluded or marginalized, such as those who have physical or mental disabilities, and members of other minority groups. An inclusive organization promotes and sustains a sense of belonging; it values and practices respect for the talents, beliefs, backgrounds, and ways of living of its members. If you are interested in belonging to our organization - we welcome you! IN THE NEAR future we will be expanding our leadership teams as we continue to return to full services. All are encouraged to become a member, register for art classes, volunteer and share their love for the arts. We will be introducing new programs for service and applications for new roles and opportunities. Please consider your relationships throughout McCormick County as we will need broad representation for key leadership positions to round out our team to deliver new goals and shared vision. In the near future you will be called upon to help serve as we deliver Arts for All! Please help us to share a HUGE applause for our local Green Curtains team! THANK YOU TO the entire Green Curtain group members and Board of Directors team for your commitment to advancing the arts in our community. The MACK was recently selected to receive $3,000 to support our Arts in Basic Curriculum program. This is a particularly exciting time as a plan to advance the Drama Club is now a priority of the school district. Dedicated instructors are committed to using drama to address mental health needs for our youngest community members. America’s Boating Club – Thurmond Lake ends 2022 with a 50% increase in Membership AMERICA’S BOATING CLUB – Thurmond Lake hosted numerous fun and well-attended events in 2022 and ended the year with a 50% increase in membership. Here’s a recap of the squadron’s activities. District 26 Commander Rich Norris conducted the Change of Watch ceremony on January 8 and administered the oath of office to incoming Commander Bill O’Neill. Other officers inducted were XO Michael Moore, AO Ken Wiles and SEO Sandy Gresham. Dinners were among the most popular events, but the outside activities were plentiful as well. Six were held at the River Grille, including dinner meetings in February with Chief Ranger for the J. Strom Thurmond DamWesley Millar as speaker and November (with a putting contest), the Commander’s dinner in March, the Past Commanders dinner in August with nine former Commanders in attendance and Sheriff Clarke Stearns as speaker, and the Christmas celebration in December. Other dinners were held at Willie Mac’s and the Plum Branch Yacht Club in June; and picnic outings were hosted in April with disc golf andat the Elijah Clarke State Park in September with a cruise. Additional social events included kayak training in April, a cruise down the Augusta Canal in May, and a raft up at Baker Creek State Park and the poker run with dinner at Hickory Knob in July. The July 9 boat parade at the Plum Branch Yacht Club celebrating our nation’s Independence Day was one of the year’s major highlights. It was co-hosted by the McCormick County Chamber of Commerce which provided the cash prizes. Education was a major focus this year with 8 ABC3 classes and a 7-session course on “Understanding and Predicting the Weather.” Chester Mott was added as a third instructor with Bill O’Neill and Chuck Gresham. O’Neill was awarded the prestigious Charles F. Chapman Award for Excellence in Teaching at Ponte Vedra Beach, FL at the annual meeting of America’s Boating Club, also known as the United States Power Squadrons® (USPS). America’s Boating Club – Thurmond Lake emphasizes safe boating for both members and anyone else who operates a boat. In addition to the ABC3 courses, the squadron promotes safe boating through free boat inspections to anyone who requests one. The vessel safety examiner looks for the registration number, functional lights and required safety equipment and presents the vessel owner with a list of the items found and other suggested items to increase safety and comfort. The year ended with participation in the December 3 McCormick Christmas parade and a celebration of Christmas at the River Grille on Saturday, December 17 with a choice of prime rib or sea bass, both with all the trimmings. It was a wonderful evening with delicious food, charming company and great music and dancing. The event was one of the highest in attendance. If you are interested in a fun and active organization, membership information is available from AO Ken Wiles at [email protected]• AMERICA’S BOATING CLUB – THURMOND LAKE PC Sandy Gresham chats with members Jake Ellwing, RosaLee Riggins and John Nixon. VERIFIED CLIENT REVIEWS FROM RATEMYAGENT.COM: Shannon went above and beyond to help me with this property. I was an out-of-state buyer, and she helped with every question I had. Even went and took a video of the area and the home and sent it to me on a weekend. (Vince Bello) Any question or concern I had, Shannon was approachable, thoughtful, and efficient. You will not be disappointed in hiring her to be your advocate in all your real estate needs. (Lou Ann Gosch) Shannon was easy to work with. Guided us at every step from signing up with her to the day of closing. She represented us at each decision to be made. One could be very comfortable having Shannon as your Realtor. (Alice and John Powers) Very caring, courteous, and thorough. A blessing to work with. (Kathy Whitaker) I don't know of another real estate agent working this hard for their sellers. Helping to manage this entire process while my dad and I were 800 miles away, was no easy task, but Shannon made everything go so smoothly from beginning to closing... If you want an agent who's going to work for you, Shannon is that agent! Local Agent Recognized by Realtors of Greater Augusta -Published in The Journal Messenger, January 2023 “If only I had… the courage to speak up" by JOHN COMPSTON TEACHING AND PROVIDING an understanding of courage has been important within our family. The vehicle to accomplish this has been through the discussion of potential real-life scenarios. While there are an endless number of scenarios, here is an example for a child. Someone is being bullied at school and we discuss whether or not they would have the courage to speak up and defend that child. For children and even adults, there is often a fear of speaking up. Fear that one might be ridiculed, embarrassed or even lose a friend. As a way to keep peace and avoid conflict many believe it best to say or do nothing. It takes courage to speak up. While the ultimate responsibility for the safety of everyone in a vehicle belongs to the driver, passengers can have an impact on the safety of everyone. That is, if passengers have the courage to speak up. Let's look at a couple of real-life driving scenarios. After a round of golf, a foursome is in the clubhouse drinking beer and talking about the round. One member of the group has clearly had too much to drink and when time comes to leave is seen walking to their vehicle. Does someone, more to the point, do you have the courage to intervene? Or will they be allowed to go on their way and drive. Have you witnessed a similar situation, only to hear someone say I hope they get home without hitting something? A friend has picked you up to go play softball, and while operating the vehicle they are on their phone sending text messages. Do you have the courage to ask the driver to forgo being distracted so that both of you will be able to enjoy some softball? Or will you risk the posibility of not arriving at the baseball field? Your spouse is driving you to town to go to the store, and is driving at speeds that far exceed the posted speed limit. In the back of your mind is the phone call that your spouse just received about a health issue of one of your children. Do you have the courage to ask your spouse to slow down so that both of you will be safe and ultimately have the opportunity to provide the support that your child needs? In reviewing these scenarios, each individual has a real choice. Each can simply walk away and do nothing or they can face their fear and have the courage to speak up. Non-driving passengers account for a significant number of people who are killed or injured yearly in traffic accidents. Make a difference, have the courage to speak up. Do not be one who struggles with the thought, if only I had...• STREET SAFETY SavannahShorelines.com • February 2023 • 11
OAC Hike at Elijah Clark State Park by LINDA McCLINTOCK ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 7, 52 members of the SLV Outdoor Adventure Club (OAC) members gathered at Elijah Clark State Park in Georgia for a hike on the three mile loop trail. It was a nice day for a walk in the woods and along the lake. The sun was shining, it wasn’t cold and everyone enjoyed gathering together to meet new friends and connect with old friends. The trail had some wet spots, but we were able to navigate around them easily. This was OAC’s first hike of 2023, but it will not be the last. We are just getting started! Hiking, biking, kayaking, archery, disk golf, an owl prowl, and a trip to the Georgia Botanical Gardens to see the tulips are just a few of the outdoor activities that the OAC has planned for our members this year. In February we plan to have a scavenger hunt in Abbeville. We are also planning a couple of hikes for February. In addition, the OAC is also planning another “Walk SLV Challenge” this year. We are always looking for new activities to enjoy and people to help organize the events. If you are not already a member of the OAC, you may stop by the SLV Recreation Center and pick up an OAC flyer which has directions as to how to join attached.• GOLF Start of the MGA 2023 by BOB EDWARDS GOOD AFTERNOON, EVERYONE! DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION The Other February Historical Dates in U.S. History by FAITH MURDOCK Long Cane Chapter NSDAR FEBRUARY IS A month of many special events, such as Presidents’ Day, Black History Month and Valentine’s Day. However, in researching historical happenings for that month, this writer discovered that February is also the month in which the most amendments to our Constitution have been passed. How many of us know how difficult it is to amend our Constitution? Since the Bill of Rights was passed in 1791 we have added only 17 more amendments to the Constitution, for a total of twenty-seven. The process of crafting an amendment is tedious; then the proposal requires a 2/3 vote of both houses of Congress, followed by the ratification of the legislatures of 3/4 of the states. Hence, the relatively small number of amendments. Five of these seventeen amendments were passed in the month of February. The first was the 11th amendment on the 7th day of February, 1795. Interestingly, this stemmed from a 1793 Supreme Court ruling that two South Carolina men could sue and collect debts from the State of Georgia. So, this amendment protected states from certain types of legal liability and is known as “sovereign immunity.” The next February amendment occurred almost a century later on the 3rd in 1870. This 15th amendment stated that “The right of Citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account race, color, or previous condition of servitude.” Forty-three years later, again on February 3rd (1913), the 16th amendment was ratified and thus the creation of our income tax. On February 6, 1933, the date for the Presidential inauguration was set for January 20th, and the terms of Senators and Representatives were to commence at noon on January 3rd. This was amendment number 20. Our Savannah Lakes Model Homes Await Your Arrival! Ratification of amendment number 22 took place on February 27, 1950, limiting Presidential terms, as such: “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.” In other words, the longest a President can serve is 10 years. The final February amendment (25th) occurred February 10, 1967, as a direct result of President Kennedy’s assassination in 1963. It clarifies Presidential succession and incapacity, should that befall our elected President. So, in a nutshell, this is how amendments to our original Constitution were made on dates in February. Publication space dictates brevity, but this writer suggests that you look up the history of all of our amendments. On-line sources are quite educational and entertaining. by JOE LOCKE Founder and President, SLV Pickleball Club The weather outside may be frightful, but being with the SLV folks is delightful. December has been busy at SLV and we have lots for which to be thankful. We continue to grow every month, and we are very excited about 2023!!! SLV well represented at the USA Amateur Championships (This is a big dill!) IN EARLY DECEMBER seven members of the SLV Pickleball Community travelled to Daytona, FL to compete in the inaugural USA Diamond Amateur Championships at the beautiful Pictona (PICkleball dayTONA) facility. These players had qualified to play in Pictona by winning Gold or Silver in a regional championship, which is a great accomplishment. Three of the SLV teams advanced to the medal round, but unfortunately came up just a little short. It takes a lot of dedication and hard work to advance to this level, and I am very proud of you all. This level of representation shows the Pickleball world that we really can play at SLV. The seven SLV participants were; Beth Weik, Vicki Massie, Rhonda Bennick, Dave Ball, Kevin Betz, Bob Massie, and Joe Locke (me.) Thanks all for your hard work. You did SLV proud! Men’s Fall Ladder League Season Completed The SLV Men’s Fall Pickleball Ladder League completed play in December and all three divisions went down to the wire. The season started in the blazing heat and ended in the cold. Many thanks to the players, subs, and court monitors who made the season a smashing success. Also, thanks to the many fans who came out to watch this exciting event. League play will resume in the spring of 2023. Congratulations to the division winners: Lions Joe Locke (it helps to keep the standings…) Tigers John McClintock Bears (Oh My) Bob Wissinger 2022 Year End Review for the SLV Ladies Pickleball Ladder League SLV had a great turnout for our Spring Ladies Ladder League with 24 players. Many players had never played in a ladder league, so this was a great time to see if they liked it. We had 3 divisions, each one comprised of like competitive players, which made the games all very close and exciting to the end. Betty Dodge, Eileen Ciperson and Kim Swigert each won their divisions. The Fall Ladder had 16 ladies, with most of them returning from the spring games. This time we had two divisions, equally competitive. Betty Dodge came in first and Deb Wissinger, second in their division, and Linda Dodd came in first and Susan Ballentyne, second in their division. Despite the hot then cold weather, the Fall League was very successful. Congratulations to all winners! League play will continue this spring! SLV Hosts Friendly Match with Aiken On Tuesday, 12/13,the SLV Blazing Paddlers hosted a team from Aiken in a friendly, mini-scramble event. We started out playing SLV vs Aiken teams, and then switched to a mixed team format. The day was cold, but the competition and comradery were nice and warm. It was a great opportunity to meet and play with and against folks from a different community in a friendly environment. We hope to visit Aiken in the Spring, and also to expand this event to other communities. SLV players and court monitors were Deb Wissinger, Mary Fuchs, Sue Watson, Julie Elmore, Vicki Massie, Beth Weik, Bob Massie, Mitch Rhodes, Kevin Tasco, Jerry Marion, Jack Pfeiffer, Chuck Howell, Paul Doyle, Bob Wissinger, Bill Kilty, and yours truly as team captain. Blazing Paddlers compete in SLV / Augusta Senior Bowl Challenge On Friday, 12/9, several members of the SLV Blazing Paddles Pickleball Club travelled to Augusta to compete in the Inaugural SLV/ Augusta Senior Bowl Challenge. The folks from Augusta created a Senior Bowl Trophy, which will be kept by the winning team. Although we played well, the Augusta team took home the trophy, for now. However, we will be hosting the Augusta team in the spring, and we plan to keep the Senior Bowl Trophy at SLV. The SLV players were; Betty Dodge, Vicki Massie, Deb Wissinger, Beth Weik, Bob (Foot in the Kitchen) Harla, Mitch Rhodes, Chuck Howell, and Bob Massie. Every SLV player won at least 1 game. I was proud to serve as team captain for this fun and competitive event. Thanks to all our spectators who cheered us on. We hope to have a big crowd when the Augusta team visits us in the spring. If you are an SLV resident and want to join the Pickleball Club, contact Joe Locke at [email protected]. by LANA SNELLGROVE MANY EXCITING THINGS are going on in the tennis community here at SLV. The 8th Annual Mixed Doubles Intramural Season began in January with 32 team players and 20 subs. This lively, fun group of players and spectators take to the courts on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons at 2:00. Team captains this year are Greg Sullivan, Keith Jones, Marianne Chalifour, and Doug Chalifour. “We have no rules for those not playing, other than to ask that spectators save their cheering, jeering and coaching for after the point,” emphasized Doug Chalifour with a hearty chuckle. Doug is the organizer and promoter of this annual program. “Marianne will again be providing the hot chocolate. We want to invite friends and neighbors to come out to join the fun!” One of the highlights of 2022 was a new State Championship sign appearing on the fence at the Tennis Complex. The Greenwood Area Tennis Association sent a Ladies 75+ team to the State Invitational Tournament in October at Hilton Head Island. Three ladies from SLV were invited to join the team: Fran Castle, Kathie Kase, and Lana Snellgrove. Three ladies from Gatewood Tennis Club and one lady from Clinton Laurens completed the roster. The team won all four of their matches and brought home the USTA League South Carolina 2022 Invitational Champion Adult 75 & Over 3.5 Women’s title.• Da’Commish Invites You to Come Join the Fun! Bowling Pin Shoot/Competition by JOE CRANE And the Winner of the Golden Bowling Pin is… The SLV Rod & Gun Club conducted a Bowling Pin Shoot/Competition on Saturday December 10, 2022, hosted by Len Azzarano. The event consisted of 5 bowling pins set on a 4x8 board, 21 feet from the firing line. Each round of shooters had 7 shots to knock the pins off the table. Scoring was performance weighted in that 5 pins off the table in 5 shots counted as a score of 7. 5 pins off the table in 7 shots were scored as a 5. Pins had to be off the table to score as a hit. Shooting skill was one of the factors at play, but chance was another. Some shooters managed to knock down pins that stayed on the table, spinning or teetering on the edge when hit a second, or even a third time. There was no limit on shooter go arounds and all calibers were eligible. The Winner for this competition and recipient of the “Golden Bowling Pin” was Mike Blouin who ended the competition with a perfect score. Additionally, Mike managed to keep the Golden Bowling Pin in the family, as wife Janet won the prize at our first competition back in May of 2022. Gail Tyburski took second place. Other participants were; Curtis Wakefield, Janet Blouin, Ken Root, Joe Crane, Frank Newborn and George Winchester. Thanks to Curtis Wakefield who did much work as our volunteer pin setter.• ROD & GUN CLUB WE DO IT ALL FOR YOU: BLINDS • SHADES • SHUTTERS • DRAPES • HOME AUTOMATION Mike Blouin with Coveted Golden Pin Trophy and Supporting Cast. As Valentine’s Day approached you would make a special folder to collect the valentines from your classmates. Some were made of construction paper stapled together, while others were made of paper bags which hung on the back of your chair. On Valentine’s Day, your classmates would put Valentines into your bag or folder. Usually there was a party at the end of the day when everyone would open their Valentines and celebrate the relationships they shared with each other. Valentine’s Day is celebrated on February 14th. Chances are you’re not gonna have a whole class full of Valentines. You might receive a Valentine from your spouse, children, or closest friends. You might even be fortunate enough to go out for dinner as you celebrate your love with your spouse, family or a special group of friends. Hopefully this happens to you. While Valentine’s Day seems unique, it definitely is not. There are at least three stories about St. Valentine and how Valentine’s Day originated. The one story says, “Saint Valentine lost his head – literally – after displeasing the Ancient Roman Emperor, Gothicus in the late 3rd century. While in custody of Asterius, a trusted aristocrat within Rome, Valentine succeeded in a bargain with him. If Valentine, a Christian, could cure Asterius’s foster-daughter’s lack of sight, Asterius would convert to Christianity. Valentine was able to cure the girl, and his actions were praised by Asterius and his family. However, the family soon saw the same fate as Valentine at the hands of Emperor Gothicus. The tradition of exchanging “written” Valentines started in the 1400’s. By The middle of the 18th century, it was common for friends and lovers of all social classes to exchange small tokens of affection or handwritten notes. In the 1900’s printed cards began to replace written letters due to the growth of the printing press. “I love you!” is the special message of Valentine’s Day that we all love to hear. God says “I love you” through His Son, Jesus. Jesus is God’s ultimate Valentine given to you. God loves you! You cannot earn God’s love, it is a gift freely given. His love is overflowing, sacrificial, life-giving, everlasting, encouraging, correcting, inviting, comforting and forgiving. God is patient with us. God is constantly pursuing us and ultimately, His love changes us. God’s very nature is to love us more than we could ever imagine. Think for just a moment of the person you love or loved the most. It may be your spouse, a child, or a parent. No matter how great your love is for that person, it is only a drop in the bucket compared to God’s love for you. The whole of point of Valentine’s Day is to appreciate and realize the love that surrounds you. During this season of love: Always remember the ones who love you; Always love the ones who love you; Always say to the ones who love you, “I love you!”• Jesus is God’s Valentine 24 • February 2023•SavannahShorelines.com
THE PERFECT FAMILY PUP! My name is Pearl and people say that I am a “quick learner” and I tend to agree with them. I already know how to “sit” and “down” and I am looking forward to increasing my repertoire. I have impeccable house manners and I will retire to my comfy crate when requested. I will always let you know when I need to go out to take care of “business.” I am very loveable and I love to play. I would say I am quite an active gal and would love a fenced in yard to romp around and maybe chase a ball or two. I have a lovely “butterscotch” color (who doesn’t love butterscotch?) and they think I may be a Labrador Retriever mix (one of the smartest breeds if I don’t say so myself!) My birthday is 8/23/2020 and I am a fit 36 pounds. I am also ready to roll, having had my shots, microchip and that all important “spay” thingy. The only thing left is for you to come pick me up to go home with you! WALKING ON SUNSHINE! My name is Alphie and I love to sit on a windowsill and catch sunbeams. You might say a nice sunny window is my happy place. I guess I am a tad shy, but once we get to know each other we will be fast friends. I will even invite you to pet me! I love to play and enjoy meeting other kittens and cats. I am currently looking for a quiet home with lots of toys and a loving family, maybe with an older kid or two to grow up with. My birthday is 5/26/22 and I am up to date on shots, neutered and microchipped. If you hurry, I can be your Valentine. It would be a purr fect way to spend the holiday.• Alphie PETS OF THE MONTH Please leave a message at 864-391-2349 or email us at [email protected] if you are interested in learning more about our available dogs and cats.
