Part II – DUTIES
A. Responsibility Post context:
Responsible for the fulfilment of the mission, tasks, operation and administration of the EOD COE in
reference to Education and Training.
B. Reports to:
EOD COE Deputy Director or as it is delegated directly to EOD COE DIR.
C. Principal Duties:
1. As Head of Education and Training Department
a) Leads the Education and Training Department.
b) Leads provision of, and support for Education, Training, and Exercises delivered by EOD COE.
c) Advisees Deputy Director and COE EOD Director regarding all Education and Training (E&T)
matters.
d) Insurances of efficient and timely production and quality of products produced by his department.
e) Manages and executes allocated tasks in accordance with the EOD POW and COE EOD director
and deputy director directions.
f) Controls professional development, training and education of the subordinated branches members
and internal branch cohesion.
g) Updates his professional development, training and education;
h) Participates in exercises, missions or any other activities in accordance with the EOD COE POW,
within the boundaries of MOU.
i) Assists in Quality assurance process of EOD COE;
j) Supports in planning process of the EOD COE’s POW.
2. As EOD COE’s designated Subject Matter Expert
a) Keeps the Command Group informed of changes and improvements to NATO E&T policies,
concepts, doctrine and standards or any other strategic or operational aspects which impacts on
EOD related areas.
b) Supervise in all levels in the development of EOD specific E&T, including participation as SME in
the EOD related areas.

c) Responsible for liaison, coordination and cooperation with regards to E&T Global programming
framework at the EOD area.
d) Supervise in E&T interoperability and capability development with external partners.
e) Responsible for the planning, preparation and execution of workshops, seminars and conferences
in order to engage appropriate actors in EOD related E&T.
f) Supervise and provides coordination to the MILENG Department Head in specialized EOD area.
g) Provides support and consultation to NATO Exercises.
h) Performs and coordinate tasks and responsibilities IAW approved EOD COE Quality Assurance
Policy.
D. Additional Duties:
a) Participates in EOD COE or international Education, Training and Exercises events as instructor.
b) Performs such other related duties as may be directed by COE EOD Director or Deputy Director.
Part III – QUALIFICATIONS
A. Required Qualifications:
1. Professional/Experience:
a) Experience in operation as EOD staff officer.
b) Experience into staff work in NATO at operational level.
c) Experience in NATO Working Groups/Panels.
d) Experience in After Action Review process.
2. Education/Training:
a) Graduate from National Staff College or equivalent.
b) To be in order with all national career courses required for this rank
c) EOD Staff Officer (Trained according NATO standard S 2143).
d) Solid knowledge on EOD standards and procedures.
3. Language (Listening/Speaking/Reading/Writing):
a) Mandatory: English
b) Proficiency SLP: 3 3 3 3
4. Security Clearance: NATO SECRET
