Appreci ati on Trib utes and Praye r

TO OUR PASTOR

Our God has sent you to this place, to lead us in the way, to teach us from His word, and we will try to do our best.
Always ready and willing to share a comforting thought and a smile.
We thank you for your ministry, your guidance and your care.
His greatest blessings for your life is our most humble prayer.

TO OUR FIRST LADY

When we thank God for our pastor, we must give Him thanks for two.
For when your husband came to us, God also sent us you. And we say thanks for all you do and lift you up in prayer.

Your presence blesses all of us who know you from day to day.
As our pastor’s wife, you are serving God in a fine and worthy way.

FATHER GOD, I PRAY THE FOLLOWING FOR OUR PASTOR AND HIS FAMILY!

Let your divine protection be upon our Pastor, his wife and children. Keep them safe from the evil one and lead them not
into temptation. Let Your Holy Angels always reside at the location of their residence.
Deliver them out of all their troubles, problems, circumstances, and situations. You are their almighty deliverer.
Keep all of them in good health. I rebuke every sickness, disease, and infirmity coming against them in the name of Jesus
Christ.
We abolish every weapon of the enemy (Satan and his cohorts) in Jesus mighty, awesome, and glorious name.
We plead the blood of Jesus Christ upon each one of them from head to toe. They have been washed, cleansed, sanctified,
redeemed, and justified through the blood of Jesus Christ.
We pray that you use them as vessels, laborers, and witnesses to expand Your work and expand Your kingdom on earth.
Prosper them in their finances. They have the favor of God and our congregation.
Increase their spiritual knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. Help them as they spend more time in reading, studying,
and learning the Word of God. Help them as they increase their prayer, praise, and worship time. Thank you for their inti-
mate relationship with their Lord and creator, Jesus Christ.
Father, You have been so kind and loving to all of us. Thank you so much. We know that our Pastor and his family are in
Your caring hands. In Jesus name we pray, amen. (Adapted from www.rhemabiblechurch.net - Submitted by Maxine Coleman)

Expressions of Appreciation

We thank God for Pastor and Sister Woullard. Just as Jeremiah 3:15, says, "I will give you pastors according to mine heart,
which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding." Only God can put the right people in place at the time they are sup-
posed to be there. God always has a plan for his people and God puts people in place to lead his people, and that would
be Rev. Dr. Reginald Woullard Sr. and Sister Joyce Woullard. We appreciate you both for 17 years of service.

Pa sto r ’ s Ap pr ec iati on

There is a great need for Pastors to be appreciated and for Pastors to be “PRAYED FOR, SUPPORTED AND ENCOUR-
AGED!”

Let me share with you a few things that affect a Pastor and his heart.
HERE ARE A FEW THINGS THAT WILL “BREAK” A PASTOR’S SPIRIT!
MURMURING will break a Pastor’s Spirit! DISCORD will break a Pastor’s Spirit! DIVISION will break a Pastor’s Spirit!
GOSSIPING PEOPLE will break a Pastor’s Spirit! LIARS will break a Pastor’s Spirit!
LUKEWARM PEOPLE will break a Pastor’s Spirit! UNREASONABLE PEOPLE will break a Pastor’s Spirit!
UNFAITHFUL PEOPLE will break a Pastor’s Spirit! ROLLING EYES will break a Pastor’s Spirit!
HURTFUL WORDS will break a Pastor’s Spirit!
HERE ARE A FEW THINGS THAT WILL“BLESS” A PASTOR’S SPIRIT!
A LOVING WORD will bless a Pastor’s Spirit! A KIND THANK YOU will bless a Pastor’s Spirit!
A CALL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY will bless a Pastor’s Spirit!
A CARD FOR NO REASON will bless a Pastor’s Spirit!
AN INVITE TO DINNER (WITHOUT ULTERIOR MOTIVES) will bless a Pastor’s Spirit!
A WELL PLACED “AMEN” will bless a Pastor’s Spirit! A LOVE OFFERING will bless a Pastor’s Spirit!
PEOPLE WHO VOLUNTEER will bless a Pastor’s Spirit! FAITHFULNESS ON SUNDAYS will bless a Pastor’s Spirit!
DOING WHAT YOU SAY YOU’LL DO will bless a Pastor’s Spirit!

You can’t be in the ministry without being “LOVERS OF PEOPLE!” Another thing we need to understand is it’s not
only about a “HIM” but it’s also about a “HER” as well, for they’re a “TEAM!” The wife may not hold the office but she
shares the responsibilities with her husband.
Pastors and Wives are “PRAYING IN THE WEE HOURS” of the night for the church and people in the church.
Pastors and Wives “GIVE OUT OF THEIR OWN POCKETS” for the church and people in the church!
But something about Pastors:
If they did this for “MONEY” they would be among the “GREATEST FOOLS” in the world!
If they did this for “FAME” they would be the “SADDEST PERSONS” in the world!
But they do it because of the “CALL OF GOD!”
That’s “PART and PARCEL” of what separates a “MAN CALLED” and a “MAN DESIRING!” We’ve seen men who
“DESIRE” the ministry and who are called to the Ministry! Men who “DESIRE” can always quit, but men who are
“CALLED” (CANNOT) quit, they have nothing really to quit to in order for any kind of “SATISFACTION in LIFE!”
As a Pastor, they realize that they are FIRST and FOREMOST a man. They have their “Ups and Downs”, their “Ins and
Outs”, their “Goods and Bad(s)” but there is the “CALL OF GOD” upon their life that drives them onward to fulfill that
“CALL OF GOD!”

FOLK, YOU SHOULD “APPRECIATE” YOUR PASTOR! IT’S GOOD FOR YOU AND GOOD FOR HIM! SCRIP-
TURE TELLS US THAT THE “PASTOR” IS A GIFT TO THE CHURCH!
Jeremiah 3:15 says…
“I will give you (PASTORS) according to My heart that will feed you with knowledge and understanding.”
Ephesians 4:11
“Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church, the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the (PASTORS) and teachers.”
