Prof. Maqsood Hasni ki shakhsiat

Rajistani, Saraeki, Mivati ya
Rajistani hai jissay Punjabi samjh
liya giya giya hai ya kaha jata hai
bilkul ossi tara jis tara

baba-e-urdu nay dakni kalaam ko
Urdu kalam samjh liya.

Woh ziyada’tar insan ki bai’basi,
bai’chargi, bhuk nang piyas aur
insan kay digar samaji-o-moashi
masael ko ahata-e-tehreer main
latay hai.

Woh na’seraf amraz ki tashkhis
kartay hain balkah moalja bhi
tajveez kartay hain.

Insan ko kuch na’kuch karnay ki
targheeb daitay rehtay hain. Yah
seraf shaeri main hi nahin oon kay
afsanay aur tanz-o-maza say
motalaq mazameen ka bhi khasa hai.

Istahsali tabqoon kay khalaf taqat
kay estamal kay haq main nazar
aatay hain.

Onhain molvi aur wa’az bannay ka
koe shooq nahain es kay ba’vajood

Oon ki shaeri eak roshan khayaal
aur taraqi pasand shakhas ki
shaeri hai.

Oon ki shaeri main tanzia andaz bhi
parhnay ko milta hai.

Kaein kaein maqalmati andaz bhi
ekhtyar kartay hain. Yah doo tara
ka hota hai:

1- Kisi shakas say moqalma
2- Apni zaat say guftagu

Oon ki shaeri kay doo saliqay hain:

1- shakas say kaenat ki taraf

marjiat
2- kaenat say shakhas ki taraf
wapsi

woh shakhas ki shanakht gom ho
janay kay sakht khalaf hain. Es par
kisi toor maslihat karnay ko tayar
nahain hain. Oon kay khayaal main
shanakht bar’qarar rehnay say hi
vajood baqi reh sakta hai.

Oon ki shaeri kay motala say yah
haqiqat khalti hai kah zindgi
karna koe aasan kaam nahain. Zinda
rehnay kay liay masalsal aur
muwatar mehnat aur jid-o-johad
karnay ki zarorat rehti hai.

Oon ki Punjabi shaeri KO lisani
hawala say nae aur ajeeb’tareen
shaeri ka naam diya jasakta hai.
