WELCOME MESSAGE TO THE INCOMING CLASS (Sept. 2019)

 
 
We extend a heartfelt Welcome to all the future business leaders, innovative thinkers, entrepreneurs, policy 
and decision makers who form the new incoming class of the MBA Program at the University of Cyprus.  As 
you embark on a new chapter in your professional development, we wish each of you every success in the 
fulfilment of your aspirations.  The program’s management and administrative teams, the faculty, and the 
alumni community stand ready to support you at every step of the way. 
 
We fully appreciate the challenges of balancing graduate studies with work and family obligations.  Besides 
your efforts in learning, we strongly encourage you to explore and discover the diverse opportunities that the 
vibrant UCY community offers: from public lectures by guest speakers and seminars/workshops that provide 
ample opportunities for professional networking, to rich programs of cultural and social events.  We hope 
you will take full advantage of all opportunities available at UCY. 
 
We are particularly pleased with the diversity of the incoming class – in gender, educational backgrounds, 
career fields, cultures and nationalities, as highlighted below.  This provides a promising framework for 
productive cross‐fertilization and sharing of ideas during class discussions, in interactions with your

management skills in today’s multi‐cultural business environments.
