The AG-5603 is a small, lightweight digital
photometer, specifically designed to accurately
measure silver ions in water .The AG-5603 portable
photometer features an advanced optical system; the
combination of a special 570nm LED lamp, a narrow
band interference filter, and silicon photocell ensuring
accurate photometric readings every time. It is
currently, the easiest to use, quickest and most
accurate silver ion measurement tool on the market.
Using Octo’s highly accurate span calibration method,
for faster more accurate results than conventional
silver ion meters.

Silver Ion Analysis Proceedure

1. Take a 10ml sample for an outlet in the mixing vessels provided.

2. Pipette 1ml of the Silver Ion AG-5603 R1 Reagent into the sample and mix
well.

3. Holding the Silver Ion AG-5603 R2 Reagent dropper bottle in a verticle
position add 5 drops and mix well. (there should be no delay between adding
the reagent and mixing)

4. Now dispence 5 additional drops form the the Silver Ion AG-5603 R3 Reagent,
again holding it in a vertical position, and mix well.

5. Pour approximatly 8-9ml of the now coloured sample water into the testing cell
avioding contact between your fingers and the long sides of the testing cell.

6. Slide the lid firmly closed.

7. Ensuring there is no finger prints, dirt or liquid on the treatment cell, insert it
into the AG-5603 photometer, with the rounded edge facing toward you.

8. Turn the photometer on and insert the cell containing the sample.

9. Press the test button and the results of the silver ion content will be displayed
in ppm
