The holidays are a special time, but they also are always a busy time for hospitals.
For those working tonight and/or tomorrow – Please know how appreciated you are.
The patients spending their holiday in the hospital are lucky to have exceptional
healthcare professionals like you caring for them. Thank you for your commitment to
care.

To the employees who are able to take today and/or tomorrow off, enjoy your well-
deserved time off!

CRMC’s Safe Sitter Class

This valuable two-day course for girls and boys ages
11 - 13 will be held on Thursday, January 3, and Friday,
January 4, 2019, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
CRMC’s Safe Sitter Class is a medically accurate
program that teaches adolescents how to handle
emergencies when caring for younger children. Students
get hands-on practice in basic lifesaving techniques so
that they are prepared to act in a crisis. Attendees also
receive also receive information on child development
and age-appropriate activities, as well as education about
the basic business aspects of babysitting. Breakfast,
lunch and a snack provided both days. The registration
fee is $45 per student.

401(k): It’s Almost Time for the Auto-Escalator

The Auto-Escalator feature of the HCA 401(k) Plan is set to occur in January.
Participants already signed up for the feature will soon receive a reminder letter.
Below is some sample text you can use in local communications:

The Auto-Escalator feature of the HCA 401(k) Plan provides an easy way to
increase your contribution rate automatically each year. Sign up for this feature and
your rate will increase by 1% each January until you reach 15%. To get started, log
in to HCAhrAnswers.com, choose HCA Rewards and click the 401(k) box. If you
are already signed up for the Auto-Escalator, you will soon receive a reminder notice
in the mail. If you want to cancel the increase that will occur in January, you must
call BConnected at (800) 566-4114 by Dec. 27, 2018, at 3 p.m., Central time.

The Café will be close at 6 p.m. tonight, Christmas Eve.
On Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day the Café will close at 1:30 p.m.
Quiznos will be open from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. today, Christmas Eve, and closed tomorrow, Christmas Day.
