INTRODUCTION

The article written by Anthany Faiola about Amid drought conflict
and rocketing prices a global food prices are soaring and fertiner
costs are sky high.

Because of pandemic ,global hunger shot up by an estimate 118
million people world wide in 2020 before of the pandemic in
Afghanistan nearly 23 million people and more than half the
population after of pandemic the problems jumping to 768 million
people.

The pandemic change the nature global food insecurity and how the
problem evolving is conflict and climate and economic downturns
but lockdowns and Covid-19 have exacerbated those problems.

REVIEW

Based on my reading . I agree with this article because after
pandemic happens we had seen a lot of people suffering from food
shortages to survive for the sake of their children and families such
as in Afghanistan , almost 23 million suffering from food shortages
.Moreover its also expected potentially life threatening food
insecurity this winter . In Madagascar is confront worst drought in
40 year with more million people need urgent food and must need
enough food to survive with their life. Next , I disagree with this
article because the majors before covid -19 were conflict , and
climate and economics downturns . Lockdowns and covid-19 have
exacerbated those problems .Moreover , one is the significant
recovery plans and iflation we are seeing as the U.S. China ana
other countries create excess demand , which has affected , of
course , prices because of their demand for commodities . The
competition for containers has exacerbated the situation , making
transportation cost higher . for me , food crisis occurs when rates of
hunger and malnutrition rise sharply at local , national , or global
levels .Here are some of the possible solutions to food insecurity is
reduce food waste because there are more people out there who
have a hard time to find some food to survive their life.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion based on my readings , this article Because of
pandemic ,global hunger shot up by an estimate 118 million people
world wide in 2020 before of the pandemic in Afghanistan nearly 23
million people and more than half the population after of pandemic
the problems jumping to 768 million people. We need to be careful
because it could not just be climate , but a convolution of several
drivers that come together .You have the longest drought in
Madagascar combined with covid 19 problems and an economic
recession . As a result , the country is facing the worst storm
possible . I believe that the recovery in these countries like Malaysia
. And the recovery is slowed down because of the delay of
vaccinations in other countries . As a result , the effects of the covid
19 pandemic on hunger , in a context where prolonged lockdowns
have severely affect the informal economy . They will recover and
they are recovering . Scale that we’re seeing today is overall
situation is still not better than in past year . In the sense that we
still have food availability and problem food access . We don’t have
food crisis today . We have a problem of recession and food access
. But we have food available . This could change next year if the
issue of fertilizers is not resolved . Ans this problem will slowly
recovery back to normal if everyone do something for our countries
. These moral values determine how people judge situations and
other persons and, hence, how people behave in social settings.
The moral values that people have internalized by then are thought
to be stable for the rest of their lifetime. This continuity does not
entirely foreclose momentary adjustments in, for instance, people’s
valuation of freedom-vs-security, in response to situational
changes. But these situational adjustments occur around stable
setpoints that endure throughout people’s life course. Therefore,
scholars presume that ground breaking value changes on a mass
scale can only happen through generational replacement, which is

a slow process that proceeds at glacial pace. Rapid value changes
throughout an entire population, by contrast, would require that
large numbers of people substantially change their values within a
short time span. The available evidence suggests that this does not
happen under usual circumstances. The pandemic is of a global
scale, progresses at rapid speed and severely restricts the daily
lives of billions of people around the world. we cannot take it for
granted that the glacial stability of values observed in normal times
continues throughout the Corona crisis. This uncertainty opens new
territory and raises several imminent research questions
