Skills needed to be a flight attendant
Speaking- talking to others to convey information effectively
Active Listening – giving full attention to what other people are
saying, talking time to understand the points being made,
asking questions as appropriate and not interrupting ant
inappropriate times
Physical Skills – flight attendants need vision correctable to
20/40 and to hear well enough to understand passengers and
crew. They should have a good sense of balance as they must
sometimes tend to passenger needs during turbulent
conditions that make walk in difficult
On time- you must be on time and prompt to work and also to
the passengers
Customer service skills- such as patience, attentiveness,
knowledge of the product willingness to learn
