GROOMING STANDARD DEFINITION A grooming standard is a guideline for appropriate workplace appearance, personal hygiene, grooming and clothing. It is based on several elements including smartness, cleanliness, safety, hotel image and colleagues' individuality.
GUIDELINES GROOMING STANDARD It is the hotel policy during working hours that all colleagues adhere with the hotel grooming standards and dress codes as stated in the succeeding pages. The standards are enforceable and favorable to our hotel image. The differences between uniformed and non uniformed colleagues including gender are recognized and incorporated to provide the best interest of the hotel and colleagues. Additional and specific standards are also highlighted for each departments.
GENERAL GUIDELINES GROOMING APPEARANCE (HAIR) (MALE) Haircuts need to be short, styled and well kept. Hair should be combed. Minimal jewelry. No exaggerated jewelry allowed. Only one simple design ring can be worn. Designs of watches and bracelets must be simple. Oversize or colorful designs are not permitted. Earrings are permitted (one per ear only) Necklaces are not permitted unless not shown and inside the shirts.
