AERODROME CERTIFICATION
➢ THE AUTHORITY FOR CERTIFICATION OF AERODROMES IS THE
CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY OF MALAYSIA (CAAM).
➢ AS PART OF THE CERTIFICATION PROCESS, STATES SHOULD
ENSURE THAT AN AERODROME MANUAL INCLUDE ALL
PERTINENT INFORMATION ON THE AERODROME SITE, FACILITIES,
SERVICES, EQUIPMENT, OPERATING PROCEDURES,
ORGANIZATION AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IS
SUBMITTED BY THE APPLICANT FOR APPROVAL / ACCEPTANCE
PRIOR TO GRANTING THE AERODROME CERTIFICATE

68. (1) ANY PERSON WHO CONTRAVENES ANY PROVISIONS SPECIFIED IN PART A OF THE SCHEDULE COMMITS AN OFFENCE AND SHALL ON
CONVICTION BE LIABLE— A
(A) IF THE PERSON IS AN INDIVIDUAL, TO A FINE NOT EXCEEDING TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND RINGGIT OR TO IMPRISONMENT FOR A TERM
NOT EXCEEDING ONE YEAR OR TO BOTH; OR
(B) IF THE PERSON IS A BODY CORPORATE, TO A FINE NOT EXCEEDING EIGHTY THOUSAND RINGGIT.
(2) ANY PERSON WHO CONTRAVENES ANY PROVISIONS SPECIFIED IN PART B OF THE SCHEDULE COMMITS AN OFFENCE AND SHALL ON B
CONVICTION BE LIABLE—
(A) IF THE PERSON IS AN INDIVIDUAL, TO A FINE NOT EXCEEDING FIFTY THOUSAND RINGGIT OR TO IMPRISONMENT FOR A TERM NOT

Aerodrome Operator shall establish AWHMP for the aerodrome under their
responsibility. The Plan shall encompass but not limited to the following a) Wildlife
hazard reporting system; b) Wildlife strikes reporting system; c) Airport Wildlife
4 AWHMP Hazard Monitoring Team; 2 d) Airport wildlife hazard Monitoring program; e)
Airport Wildlife Hazard Report and Strike Assessment Team; f) Airport wildlife
hazard report and strike assessment program; g) Wildlife hazard control and
reduction methods; and h) Airport Wildlife Hazard Management Organization.
The ADARP shall include the following information:- a) Name of aerodrome; b)
Detail of aerodrome operator, list and contact number of key personnel, and list
and contact number of airlines/aircraft operators' key personnel; c) Particulars of
members of ADARP and Disabled Aircraft Removal Coordinators including their
contact numbers during and after office hours. d) Aerodrome hours of
5 ADARP operations; e) Largest type of aircraft operating at aerodrome concerned; f)
Purpose of ADARP; g) Responsibilities of airport operator, aircraft owner or aircraft
operator, refuelling company, and other supporting agencies; h) Procedures for
the removal of disabled aircraft; i) Disabled aircraft removal equipment; j)
Methods of disabled aircraft removal (as guidelines); k) Safety and security
requirements; l) Layout of the aerodrome

a) compliance of the aerodrome infrastructure with the applicable
regulations for the operations the aerodrome is intended to serve;
b) the operational procedures and their day-to-day application, when
applicable, concerning:
1) aerodrome data and reporting; 10)apron management;
2) access to the movement area; 11)apron safety;
3) aerodrome emergency plan; 12)vehicles on the movement area;
4) rescue and fire fighting (RFF); 13)wildlife hazard management;
5) inspection of the movement area; 14)obstacles;
6) maintenance of the movement area; 15)removal of a disabled aeroplane;
