During this internship, I also acquired a profound understanding of the specific prerequisites and regulations that designers must adhere to, encompassing client preferences and the limitations imposed by the manufacturing process. It underscored the significance of responsible design, emphasizing that aesthetics alone is insufficient. I internalized the idea that meticulous attention to intricate details and the proactive resolution of issues that manifest during the product design phase are vital. Moreover, I gained an appreciation for the pivotal role that effective communication plays in the field of design. As a designer, it is imperative to embrace critiques and feedback during discussions and maintain a proactive and open channel of communication with professionals hailing from diverse backgrounds, including engineering and marketing. This collaborative approach fosters a holistic understanding of the entire design process. Lastly, the internship instilled in me the importance of maintaining discipline and efficiency in meeting project deadlines. Despite the flexibility allowed by the company, adhering to a disciplined work ethic and consistently delivering tasks on schedule emerged as indispensable qualities in ensuring client satisfaction and fulfilling our obligations.
