DETAILED ITINERARY:-

DAY 1: 04: AUG.2017: ARRIVAL IN NAIROBI / AMBOSELI

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, in the morning, Meet our driver guide or company
representative in Nairobi JKIA and be assisted to clear with customs as well as immigration
formalities and drive south through Masai country to the plains below Mt. Kilimanjaro where
Amboseli is situated. After a stopover lunch at the lodge / Camp we proceed into the scenic
Amboseli National Park for a game drive returning to the lodge
in the evening for a sun downer. Despite its small size (392 sq
km), this fragile ecosystem supports a wide range of
mammals (well over 50 of the larger species) and birds (over
400 species).The waters from Mt. Kilimanjaro drain down the
mountain under lava flows and surface in Amboseli, creating a
green belt of swampland amidst dusty plains. Amboseli lacks
the profusion of animal species found in the Mara, but the
landscape provides limited cover so we have better chances of
seeing some of the larger predators. Elephant, buffaloes,
lions, gazelles, cheetahs, wildebeest, hyenas, jackals, warthogs, Masai Giraffes, zebra, baboon,
and waterbuck are all present in the park.

DAY 2: 05:AUG 2017: AMBOSELI

Early morning game drive can be taken in Amboseli when Mt. Kilimanjaro usually appears from its
mantle of clouds, morningand afternoon game viewing in Amboseli
, the game Proceeds to the area of Lake Amboseli, which is a wide
salt pan, consisting of permanent swamps. This area has much
game, large and small, high concentration of Elephant, rhino,
buffalo, Burchell’s zebra, eland, Masai giraffe and small species of
the antelope family, the common water buck, klipspringer, Grant’s
gazelle, impala, topi, and the diminutive duiker among others.
Return to the camp for Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 3: 06.AUG 2017: AMBOSELI –LAKE NAKURU N.P

After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru national park, There is a ‘look out’ from where one can view this natural
wonder. Here the road descends into the Great Rift Valley. On the descent one is surprised to see just off the
road, a panaromic view of Lake Elementaita. It should be mentioned here that this road from Nairobi to Nakuru
was the first overland road to be surfaced with tarmac in Kenya. This park was famous only as a bird sanctuary
especially the lesser and greater flamingos. However, now it is home to the white rhino and Rothschild giraffe,
besides the herbivores like buck and antelope. Leopard can also be seen in this park. The vegetation is of the
drier type. The flat-topped acacia and the candelabra cactus are a feature of the landscape. Arrive and check
in at the lodge or hotel for Lunch and afternoon game drive returning to the camp / Lodge .

- Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus. The lake is almost 13kms across, but
its waters are shallow with an average depth of five metres .Much of the lake is surrounded by forests of the
yellow barked Acacia Xanthophlea, known as the yellow fever tree. These forests abound with bird life, and
Naivasha is known as a world class birding. The waters of the lake draw a great range of game to these
shores. Giraffes wander among the acacia, Buffalo wallow in the swamps

and Colobus monkeys call from the
treetops while the Lakes large hippo
population sleeps the day out in the
shallows. The region surrounding
the Lake is well worth exploring.
There are two smaller lakes nearby,
Oloidien, and Sonachi, a bright
green cater lake. Hell's Gate
National Park lies beside the lake.
This Park was named for its pair of massive red tinged cliffs framing a
geothermic ally active interior of steam vents and bubbling springs. The park is home to a profusion of plains
game and birdlife. Walking is permitted, making it ideal for hiking, biking, and rock climbing. Afternoon Return
to Lake Naivasha for boat ride, and a visit to crescent island returning back to the camp for Dinner and
overnight.

DAY 4: 07:AUG.2017: NAKURU / NAIVASHA- MAASAI MARA 275 KMS 4-5 HRS DRIVE

After breakfast depart for Maasai mara game reserve. The Maasai mara” – Kenya’s finest game reserve –with
gentle rolling grasslands teeming with a plethora of animals
and birdlife. See the Thompsons and Grant Gazelles , Topi ,
Eland , Zebra , Waterbuck , Giraffe , Hippo , wild beast ,
warthog , Crocodiles , Ostrich , Vultures amongst others and
over 450 birds species , with over 50 birds of prey. One thing
is for sure …..At Maasai mara, you will experience nature in
its wild wonder.
Arrive and Check in at the lodge or camp for lunch. The
meals are buffet, enjoyed either in the dining or under the
shade of indigenous trees. The culinary affair is indeed one to
delight the senses, have a few minutes relaxing and enjoying
the surrounding before you depart for an afternoon game drives returning back to the camp or Lodge for dinner
and overnight. This is an extension of Serengeti National Park of Tanzania.

DAY 5: 8 :AUG .2017: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Spend the whole day in the Masai Mara Game Reserve with both morning and afternoon game
drives or full day game viewing with picnic lunch.
Masai Mara Game Reserve offers wonderful scenery and plenty
of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where a
visitor may see animals in the same super abundance as
existed a century ago.
Maasai mara offers and absolutely unique variety of animals. The
reason being that this hilly region is both humid and fertile and is
crossed by Mara and Talek rivers full of crocodiles and hippos. The
abundance of water and excellent availability of food are the reasons
maasai mara has greatest population of wild animals in the whole of
Africa.

There is a particularly dramatic spectacle from July to October, the annual migration of huge herds of Gnus
and Zebras, predators such as Hyenas, Jackals, Leopards and Lions closely follow these herds.

Optional activities:
Nature walk
Our naturalist will take you within the camp compound. He will give you detailed information on
plants, birds and other small animals. This takes about 1.5 hours. An extended nature walk going to
the Mara river, which takes about 2.5 hours, is also available.» Duration: approx.1.5-2.5hours,

Maasai village visit:
You can visit a maasai village to see their traditional life. Photography is NOT prohibited here. A
maasai guide at the village will escort and explain to you in English about their lives. It takes about 2
hours including the return transfers by us.» Duration: approx.2hours, starting at 10:00AM
A maasai lady will give you a lecture on how to make a beaded bracelet at our library. It will be one
of your souvenirs once completed. The lecture takes about 3 hours.

DAY 6: 09: AUG:2017: MAASAI MARA / NAIROBI

After breakfast, morning game drive in Masai mara, explorate this
part of the Northern Serengeti Ecosystem where the great wildebeest
migration takes place. The plain is literally covered with these
animals. Grunts and other animal sounds are heard, and territorial
fights are commonplace. The migration, now declared the Seventh
Wonder of the World takes place from end July to September. Soak in
the abundance of untamed wilderness, fresh and natural scenery,
filled with exotic wildlife during our expertly guided game drives
enjoyed in open vehicles. For those interested in a more intimate
encounter, we contact a safe and exciting walking safari where you
will have a chance to come face to face with nature’s beauty both in
Flaura and Fauna.

Optional: Hot air balloon safari
Float in the breeze over the Savannah in a balloon that give you a unique vantage point and toast your return to
earth with a champagne breakfast. You will also have a game drive about 2.5hours on the way back to the
club.
Early morning balloon safari you drift above the browsing game and have tremendous opportunities for unusual
photographs. What could be more uplifting than an early morning safari in a hot air balloon flying over vast
plains of Africa? Witness an African Sunrise s a plethora of wildlife roams the land beneath you. At the end of
the fligh.You land on the plains in the midst of this enchanting Savanah champagne, breakfast is laid out with
the aroma of sausages, eggs and bacon sizzling over charcoal fire. Drive leisurely Fashion with game viewing
on your way back to your camp or lodge.
Drive back to Nairobi to arrive late in the afternoon. Transfer to your hotel for Overnight.
