SPORTS ARE UNDERWAY!

After a long summer and a great staff/official’s training, Intramural Sports are finally back in
action as Sand Volleyball, Softball, and Flag Football are starting up really quickly. The first
tournament of the fall semester will take place this Sunday the 11th, which was the disc-golf
tournament. The Intramural staff is excited to show you what has transpired over the past few
months since we’ve last seen students on campus. If you did not have a chance to get a team
together for this semester, no worries! All four of the aforementioned sports will be back in the
Spring, although Flag Football will be played indoors instead of outside. In case you want to
come out to our fields and watch some of your friends, here’s what the Flag Football, Sand
Volleyball, and Softball schedules look like for the next three weeks:

Flag Football:
Mondays through Thursdays from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Sand Volleyball:
Sunday’s through Thursdays from 4:15pm to 6:30 pm

Softball:
Sundays from 1:00 pm to 11:00 pm
Mondays through Thursdays from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Remember that in instances of inclement weather, please call our Intramural hotline at
262-472-1400 for up-to-date information, and please stay in touch all through the outdoor
portion of the Fall 2011 calendar. Updates for the indoor portion of the calendar will be made
available as the warmer weather draws to a close in late September, early October. Remember
to also look for us on Facebook and Twitter for any other up to date information.

Just a reminder:

If you are in need of some extra players, please come to the bulletin board
outside of room 100 and check out our free agent list. There are a lot of fellow UWW students
eager to get the chance to play on your team, so please don’t hesitate to take a look.

For future registrations, all IM roster forms (blue sheet) must be filled out and include four (4)
signatures on the waiver portion of the form (reverse side) for teams to become eligible for reg-
ular season play.

WARHAWK INTRAMURALS IN SOCIAL MEDIA
WHY YOU SHOULD “FOLLOW” US AND “LIKE US”!!

As we walk around campus and hang out with our friends it’s hard to find
someone who is not on either Facebook or Twitter. So many students, staff and
people off all kinds are getting hooked on Social Media! At Whitewater Intra-
murals we are too! And that’s why there are so many reason’s why you should
keep up with us on Twitter and Facebook.

First, if there are ever any upcoming sign up dates , Facebook and Twitter
are a great place to check.. Whitewater Intramural will always keep up to date on
when team signup’s are due.

Secondly, social media outlets allow easy access to important information
like when a captains meeting might be or when the start of a sport may be.

We also like to inform our students of when Officials Training’s are going
to happen, or how you can get involved with UWW Intramurals.

There are many reasons why you should join us on the web, but these are
just a few. Be sure to search us at the on Facebook and Twitter using the info at
the bottom of the page!

SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM

SPONSOR INFORMATION

Program Introduction:

For a second year in a row UWW Intramurals has opened up it’s program looking for sponsors.
This year the Rec Sports department was successful in getting five sponsors for the 2011-2012
school year. Our sponsor have been extremely generous to our department with their donations
and time.

Students should understand that without our sponsors much of what goes on in our program
would not exist. In Whitewater Intramurals the champion of every sport receives a shirt and with-
out those donations to our program, receiving a championship t-shirt would not be possible. Be
sure to visit our sponsors and thank them for standing behind UWW-Intramural Sports!
