Parents Contract

Ideal Moralis Preschool Terms and Conditions

To enable us to provide and maintain the highest standards of education, and to ensure
there is clarity about the contractual relationship between parents and preschool, we set
out below our standard conditions:-

Admission
1. Children will be considered for entry to the Preschool once the registration form has
been completed and returned to us. Registration has to be paid when a place has been
accepted by you to secure your place.

Operation Hours
1. Ideal Moralis Preschool is open every Monday to Friday from 7.20 am until 6.30 pm.
2. Parents are advise to send your child before 8.15 am because the gate will be close
after that for learning session.

Welfare of the Child
2. We will do all that is reasonable to safeguard and promote your child’s welfare. Our
Preschool will work with children to ensure the welfare and safety of children and to give
them the very best start in life.
3. Where a child is not fully potty trained, parents of that child must provide sufficient
nappies for each day and spare clothes while potty training. These will only be used
on your child. IMP teachers will start to potty train your child on March/April and IMP
encourage parents to do the same at home.

Child Attendance

4. Parents / guardian are required to notify Ideal Moralis Preschool if your child is
absent from the school through sickness. Please inform us before 8.00 am.

3. Please make sure your child is coming to school wearing school uniform and ready to
learn. (Example: brush teeth, shower and not wearing sleeping attire)

Health and Medical Matters
5. If your child becomes ill during learning session, the teacher in charge will contact
the parent / guardian or the emergency contact indicated on the Registration Form.
Parents must inform Preschool immediately of any changes to these contact details.
6. If your child is suffering from a communicable illness, they should not be brought to
Preschool until such time as the infection has cleared.

7. Ideal Moralis Preschool cannot administer any medicine to a child unless prescribed by a
doctor and presented in its original packaging. Should the child be on prescribed
medication it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to notify the school or the
teacher, and to sign the necessary form of consent prior to any medication being given.

8. Kindly prepare your child own food if he / she have any allergies.

Snacks and Water Bottles

Children are encouraged to bring a daily, small, HEALTHY snack that is not messy to eat, such as
one from the list below. Students will be given ten minutes to eat in the mornings. I also
encourage all the children to keep a bottle of water in their bag and refill them throughout the
day to stay well hydrated. They may not keep any other beverage open in the classroom to avoid
damage to materials in case of spills.

Suggested Healthy Snacks:

• crackers
• cheese crackers
• fruit
• veggies and dip
• yogurt
• raisins
• bread
• sandwich
• dry non-sugary cereal
• biscuit

Please do not send soda, sweet drinks (milo, ribena, vitagen, etc), candy, chips, nut or other
snacks with little nutritional value and high sugar/fat content: these items will be sent back
home. The purpose of providing a snack time at school is not just to fill our bellies, but also to
learn to make good choices about what to eat! J Many children do not like foods that are good
for them, but eating healthy snacks every day will soon establish new eating habits, especially
when everyone around them is making good choices as well and the junk food temptation is not
there. Thanks for your cooperation and support.

Concerns / complaints

9. Any question, concern or complaint about the preschool or your child must be
made in the first instance to the kindergarten teacher.

Disclosures

10. In order to ensure the Child’s welfare and happiness, the parent / guardian must
disclose any medical condition, health problem or allergy affecting the child, any
concerns about the child’s safety or wellbeing, or any family circumstances or court
order which might affect the child at the time of the application or as soon as it is
known.

Fees

11. All fees are charged half termly. Monthly fee must be paid on the 2nd of every
month. Fees are payable during periods of absence from the preschool, including
sickness and any holidays taken when the kindergarten is open. Any parent having
financial difficulties or a change of circumstances should discuss this in confidence
with Ideal Moralis Preschool teacher.

12. All payment must be paid via online transaction. Cash is not allowed.

13. Parents will be reminding every 25th of every month regarding your child monthly
fee.

14. Please update your payment receipt at our online form.

15. Late payment fee after 2nd of every month will be charge extra 10% from their
monthly fee.

16. There are 2 terms of schooling. On the second term (2nd), parents have to pay for
their children material.

17. One month written notice is required if you no longer require the place, if you
wish to withdraw your child or make changes to your child’s session days. Until that
notice has expired, fees are payable for that period of time.

18. Fees will not be refunded or waived for absence through sickness or any other
reason. This rule is necessary so that the school can properly budget for its own
outgoings which continue whether or not all children are present and to ensure
that the cost of individual default does not fall on other parents. If the preschool
has to be closed due to any reason beyond the control of the preschool, such as
power failure or adverse weather conditions, no compensation will be paid or
refund given.

19. Fees need to be paid like usual with full amount even if your child is not coming to
school. For example HFMD, COVID and mother under confinement.

Unpaid Fees
20. If fees remain unpaid and go into arrears, the school has the right to deny the child a
place at Ideal Moralis Preschool which means the children will be terminate from Ideal
Moralis Preschool.

Late Collection
21. Ideal Moralis Preschool arranges staffing to cover normal hours, and seeks to
recover those and all other costs through the normal fee arrangements. That
staffing does not provide cover outside the normal working hours. Whilst the
kindergarten seeks to provide some cover in emergencies, an additional fee will be
charged if children are persistently picked up late. Please make sure you fetch
your child before 6:30 p.m.

General

22. Ideal Moralis Preschool does not accept responsibility for accidental damage or loss
of property. Parents are requested to keep their child’s personal items to a minimum
and label clearly all belongings.

23. Parents are requested to send the children in school uniform. Jewellery, gold,
heels and flip flops etc restrict a child’s movement and can present a risk of injury.
Parents are strongly advised against these items and must take responsibility for
accidents caused by belongings or clothes which the children have been sent to
Preschool with.

24. You should be aware that Ideal Moralis Preschool takes photographs within the
setting which may be used in promotional and in your child’s Learning Journey. IMP
have the right to post your child picture on the Facebook, Instagram, TikTok,
bunting, banner and any others advertisement. The child’s name will not be used in
any promotional.

Safeguarding Children

25. Teachers are instructed to limit discussions with parents regarding the preschool or
your child during school time. Parents are asked to respect that fact and not
approach staff outside of those times.

26. Parents and staff will not discuss details pertaining to their own or other
children and the kindergarten on any social networking site or in social
environments. Privacy for children is essential, so parents are requested to
respect this condition and not ask our teacher to deviate from this rule.

27. For birthday celebration, please make sure you are not using more than half an hour
(30 minutes) for celebration as to give ways for our teachers to conduct the next
lesson.

28. Parents need to inform and discuss your child birthday celebration date with
teacher at least 1 week early.

Security
29. Parents / guardian are welcome to visit Ideal Moralis Preschool; however we will not
admit anyone without prior notification. It is the parent / guardian responsibility to
ensure that teachers are aware of who will be collecting your child. No child will be
allowed to leave the building with anyone, known or not, without prior notification.
