In my opinion, a good way
to create jobs for people in
the UAE is to open animal
shelters. Here is why.

UAE has a population of 10M, and
surprisingly has very little and limited
animal shelters. If you open up a shelter,
especially in an area that has none, then a
lot of animal lovers would love to work at it!

According to the 2021-2022 National
Pet Owners Survey conducted by the
American Pet Products Association
(APPA), 70% of all Americans own
pets! That number is less than 10%
in the UAE.

Not only can people work at
shelters, here’s other ways they
can make money.

As you might know, animals need to exercise or
walk around for a bit of the day, so they don’t
get unhealthy. Volunteers, even normal
students like us could get paid to do these
things. They’re easy tasks and I’m sure we
would make easy money off them as well!

People of Determination could use these

animals to create a bond with!
