“Inquiry is a dynamic process of being open to wonder and puzzlement and coming to know and understand the
world –Inquiry is based on the belief that
understanding is constructed in the process of people working and conversing
together as they pose and solve the problems, make discoveries and rigorously testing the discoveries that arise in the course of shared activity.”
“Doubt is the incentive to truth and
inquiry leads the way”

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

If the earth was only a few feet in diameter, floating a few feet above
A felid somewhere .People would come from everywhere to marvel at it.
People would come walk around it marveling at its’ big pools of water, its’ little pools and the water flowing between the pools. People would marvel a the bumps on it, and the holds in it, they would marvel at the very thin layers of gas surrounding it and the water suspended in the gas. The people would marvel at all the creatures walking around on the surface of the ball, and at the creatures in the water. The people would declare that it was precious because it was the only one and they would protect it fiercely so that it would not be hurt. The fall would be the greatest wonder known to people. They would come to behold it, to be healed by it, to gain knowledge from it, to know beauty ... land to wonder at how it could be . People would love it and defend it with their lives because they would know somehow that all of their lives, all this, if the Earth was only a few feet in diameter

We all deserve a good rest, here are a few tips for a good night's sleep, thus a great and fresh start to a new day. Flip Your Devices To Airplane Mode Before Bed.
Before you go to sleep, don't just silence your electronic devices—put them on Airplane Mode. "Not only will you take away the WiFi signal and give your body less stimulation or distraction, but you can empty out any mental noise or belief that you have to check your phone or that it might buzz or ring while you're sleeping," explains wellness and reiki expert Kelsey Patel "There is enough mental stimulation we all get during a busy day of life. When you sleep, it's time to sleep." She adds that this will also help you with your waking up routine.
Take "Me Time" in The Morning.
Here's how: sit up in bed and take a few deep breaths to awaken to the day. Let your mind empty out any first thoughts and just slowly begin to scan your body starting from the top of the head and going down the body to the feet. Breathe and connect to your upcoming day and decide what you can give or do for yourself that day as you begin anew. Tune into your mind and notice from a peaceful place what would make your day feel great and make you feel healthy that day. Make a commitment to honor whatever it is you've decided to give or do for yourself. "These small acts of self-awareness and an open mind start to make all the difference in your day to day health."

In some ASIAN COUNTRIES such as China, Korea or Japan, a sign of approval and appreciation of someone’s cooking is to slurp the soup loudly - what is considered rude in most western countries.
However, in JAPAN don’t blow your nose loudly! It is considered very rude. So if you need to clean your nose while you are in the Land of the Rising Sun, do it in privately or turn your back to your companions before doing it. And remember, do it quietly if you want to avoid offending anyone.

Jewels of Kindness
Hey guys, my name is Zeiba and I am from Y9G. I am writing this article to represent what I am doing for the kindness drive. As you all know that our teacher Mr. Mario has raised an effort to help others by starting the kindness drive and the Jewel of kindness. He has been suggesting some of our students do something for society and our school.
So I and Mr. Mario have collaborated on this little idea that I hope will make a difference. What I have thought about doing for the kindness drive, is to provide a nice warm meal for our support staff at school, The cleaners, bus conductors, security men, canteen staff, etc. Just to show that we care about their well being and their needs. To show that we are here to fulfil their needs.
The support staff has helped us keep this school safe and hygienic. If not for them our school won't be where it is now. These small gestures of kindness are the things that count the most and have a big impact on other's lives. I hope my little gesture of kindness brings smiles to their faces and a little confidence in your hearts.

My name is Talha Ghaffar, On September 22, 2019, I underwent a surgery to fix an injury in my knee called meniscus tear.
What is meniscus?
A meniscus is a piece of cartilage that provides a cushion between your femur (thighbone) and tibia (shinbone), and there are two of them in each knee joint. They can be damaged or torn in activities that put pressure on or rotate the knee joint.
Causes:
A torn meniscus can result from any activity that causes you to forcefully twist or rotate your knee, such as aggressive pivoting or sudden stops and turns. Even kneeling, deep squatting or lifting something heavy can sometimes lead to a torn meniscus. Symptoms:
There are other symptoms to a meniscus tear like: A popping sensation, swelling or stiffness, and feeling as if the knee is locked in place when you try to move it.
I don’t remember how it happened to me but all I know is I was playing one of these activities when it happened. The symptoms that led me in discovering this was mild pain when I tried to bend or move my knee and found difficulty in keeping my knee straight. Precaution:
Meniscus tears are tough to prevent since they’re usually the result of an accident. But some precautions might lower the risks of knee injury. You should:
• Keep your thigh muscles strong by exercising regularly
• Warm up using light activities
• Give your body time between workouts, not doing this
can sometimes lead to serious injuries.
• Make sure your shoes have enough support and fit
correctly
• Maintain flexibility.
• Never abruptly increase the intensity of your workout.

I underwent an Arthroscopy surgery which lasted for 4-5 hours. A few hours after the surgery, the surgeon came into my room. He said that they had to stitch my meniscus back into place which took 4-5 hours and more which I don’t remember. I wasn’t allowed to bend my knee, or use my leg to walk for a whole 4-6 weeks.
I had to walk on crutches for 6 weeks which was very stressful for my hands.
Treatment:
I was on antibiotics for 12 days and also had to take painkillers to help relief the pain. I also have to go to physiotherapy twice or three times a week.
Physiotherapy:
Around once or twice a week, I have to go to physiotherapy to help my muscles become normal again. My normal routine there would be to first cycle, do some weight lifting using my leg, and then they would use a muscle stimulator to stimulate my muscles (blood supply).
On the first day after 5 weeks of a school leave, I was disappointed that I had to use a wheelchair to go around school, but I had to. Everyone was excited to see me as they hadn’t since before my surgery. Every lesson someone else would take me to the next lesson. Everyone treated me like I was a VIP. But I wasn’t a fan of being treated like a VIP because that meant that I wasn’t normal and was different than everyone else.
Lastly, I would like to thank the school, the nurses, the teachers, and my classmates for the support they gave me while I was in school helping me in every way they could, I would not have made it this far without them.

― Thomas Merton
Educationists should build the capacities of the spirit of inquiry, creativity, entrepreneurial and moral leadership among students and become their role model.
-A.P.J. Abdul Kalam
Every art and every inquiry, and similarly every action and choice, is thought to aim at some good; and for this reason the good has rightly been declared to be that at which all things aim.
