CMR Institute of Technology(CMRIT) is committed to grooming future visionaries and leaders..
As we all are aware that only education empowers the society to grow in real sense by
overcoming poverty, ignorance and lack of esteem, CMRIT’s mission has always been to bring
social transformation through dynamic education. Barring all barriers, education should be
spread to every stream of society and individual. CMR Institute of Technology is keen in
sustaining this vision with all its capacities. We have been taking every possible measure to bring
the youth under one roof that can provide them modern education to counter challenges ahead.

our B. Tech Branches in addition, the achievements of our students namely, K. Maniddep

getting recruited in ISRO and Gracy Biswal selected for internship at Amazon followed by 13.5

lakh pay package and many more of such kind is of great delight including the considerable

number of winners and participants in co-curricular and extracurricular activities which

certainly prove that our staff and students are adequately equipped and possess necessary

It is with great pleasure that we bring you the twelth issue of Contours, the Bi-Annaul newsletter of
CMRIT Hyderabad. The contours signifies brightness, and it very aptly sums up the prospects of our
Institute. With OUR dynamic Principal, motivating HODs and faculty that consists of bright minds and
Whasttutydepnetsofwdhoecairseiokneesndtoo yleoauveha vmeadrkif,foicurulftuytumreakisining?safe hands indeed. The current newsletter
highlights the activities of our students and the achievements of faculty during the past one year. It
also features visits by eminent scholars. The intent of contours is to disseminate information about
our Institute, and we hope that the readers find the issues informative and useful. We are thankful
to the faculty and staff of CMRIT for their valuable inputs, and we welcome suggestions and

HR Interview

What are the major reasons for your success?

This is not the time to become extremely self-centered and arrogant. Keep in mind that employers are often looking for team
players rather than Lone Rangers. A good response to this question may relate to a mentor/and or philosophy of work or
the people you work with. Also, use this question as an opportunity to inquire about an appropriate "fit for success" with this
company. For example,
"Many years ago I learned an important lesson from Bob Nelson, who was my first supervisor and really became my most
important mentor. He told me his secret to success was to 'Look at each day as a new opportunity to be your very best. Set
high goals, be honest, never say no, and work with people who share your passion for doing their best.' I've always
remembered that advice and try to live it every day. I am very self motivated, determined and honest. I really love what I do
and I try to surround myself with people who share similar passions. I thrive on this type of environment. Am I likely to find
this environment with your company? Can you tell me a little more about the characteristics of successful people at your
company? What do you see as some of the key success factors for this position?"

Describe your ideal career.
Talk about what you enjoy, skills that are natural to you, realistic problems or opportunities you'd expect in this particular
job or industry, and what you hope to learn from those experiences. Avoid mentioning specific time frames or job titles.
"I'd like to stay in a field related to training no matter what happens. I was too interested in business to work at a university,
but I believe that teaching is somehow in my blood. I've been good at sales because I took the time to educate my clients.
Now I look forward to training the new hires."

Why should I hire you?
Don't repeat your resume or employment history. Offer one or two examples to explain why you're talking to this particular
company. What's the most compelling example you can give to prove your interest? This question often remains unasked, but
it's always in the back of the recruiter's mind. Even if this question isn't asked, you should find an opportunity to use your
prepared response sometime during the interview, perhaps in your closing remarks.
"My uncle had a company that was a small-scale manufacturer in the industry, and although he later sold the business, I
worked there for five summers doing all sorts of odd jobs. For that reason I believe I know this business from the ground up,
and you can be assured that I know what I'd be getting into as a plant manager here."
What are your strengths?
Describe two or three skills you have that are most relevant to the job. Avoid clichs or generalities; offer specific evidence.
Describe new ways these skills could be put to use in the new position. If you have to talk about weaknesses, be honest
without shooting yourself in the foot-avoid pointing out a weakness that could be a major obstacle in landing the job. For
example, it might be wise to mention you barely have the required work experience for the job; the interviewer has surely
noticed this much, and then you can explain how you're qualified nonetheless.

believe that Mobility Engineering is a knowledge rich field

SAE INDIA Southern Section Annual Student Convention is an opportunity for students to showcase their skills & ideas to the industry
and to the student community as well as to share, compete and learn in the process. It is the festival of technology for students and all
different forms of technical skill and knowledge pertaining to basic concepts of mobility engineering, engineering design challenges, and
technical theatres are all present in one roof during these two days. It is SAEINDIA Southern Section's flagship event for student.

A Two-Day Work shop on “PCB Layout Design & Fabrication” held from22nd and 23rd July 2016 in the Department of
Electronics & Communication Engineering. This is a two day program which focuses on advanced topic of PCB design along
Fabrication process. In day one each participant will design PCB layout using KI CAD software, In day two KI-CAD they will
involve in etching process on a laminated copper sheet provided to them, they will also involve under go for drilling process
using a Hand driller and finally assembling and soldering the electrical components onto board. This workshop is an
invaluable resource for those who are learning PCB design. Designing a PCB is not something you will do in a couple of hours.
It is a highly technical learned skill that will take years to master. The Workshop will provide the basics of PCB design as well
aside more advanced topics.
