Seth Powers and his little brother Jakim, have been matched since May

2011. Jakim lives with his mom who felt Jakim would benefit from an adult

role model in his life. Since being matched

Jakim’s self esteem has improved a great

deal and he continues to be excited to have

a Seth in his life. They have gone rock

climbing, attended football games and visited

the Mystic Aquarium. Seth and Jakim have

a great bond and they both look forward to

the next time they see each other.

Seth Powers will be speaking at this years

golf tournament along with his little Jakim. You can start something that
