MUSICAL HOOPS
INSTRUCTION: Place the hoops scattered round the playing area. Once
the music starts playing players will dance around in a circle away from
where the hoops are arranged. Once the music stops players must race to
the nearest hula hoop and stand on it. Any player who is not in a hoop is
out of the game.
OBJECTIVE: To be the last player standing in a hula hoop.
EQUIPMENT: Hula hoops

SPACE REQUIREMENT: Full Court
TIME REQUIREMENT: 8 minutes
ANIMAL RACES
INSTRUCTION: Members are paired in twos. One person in each pair
holds the legs of their partner while the other person tries to move on
their hands. Two teams race against each other and a winner is declared.
OBJECTIVE: To determine the first team to reach the finish line.
EQUIPMENT: None required
KEY SKILLS: Speed, movement skills and balance
SPACE REQUIREMENT: Full court
TIME REQUIREMENT: 8 minutes
DODGEBALL
INSTRUCTION: Divide the class into 2 teams. Players must remain within the court
at all times, unless collecting dead balls. Players are allowed to leave the court to
collect balls but they are not allowed to throw the ball until they are back within
the court. If a player leaves the court for any other purpose or they throw a ball
from outside the court, they are eliminated. When a player catches a ball, the
throwing player will be eliminated.
OBJECTIVE: eliminate all members of the opposing team by throwing the ball at
them.
EQUIPMENT: Dodge balls

TIME REQUIREMENT: 10 minutes
RELAY RACE
INSTRUCTION: Players will be split into two teams. Players will go through
the obstINaScTlReUCcToIOuNr:se starting with hoping through hula hoops. Secondly,
running to the jump ropes and do 10 jumps. Lastly, run to the basketball and
the player must score before running back to tag the next player.
OBJECTIVE: All members of a team must finished the obstacle before the
other team.
EQUIPMENT: Cones, Hula Hoops, Jump ropes and Basketball
KEY SKILLS: Shooting, speed, jumping and running
SPACE REQUIREMENT: Full court
TIME REQUIREMENT: 10 minutes
3- LEGGED RACE
INSTRUCTION: players of 3 would be in each group. Each team will race
to the end of the court. The first to reach the end of the court is the
winner.
OBJECTIVE: All members of a team must finished the obstacle before
the other team.
EQUIPMENT: A rope to tie one leg of each member in a team.

SPACE REQUIREMENT: Full court
TIME REQUIREMENT: 8 minutes
Mr. Wolf
INSTRUCTION: put chairs at one side, each person chooses a color, one
person stands in front of the crowd, if they say your color you have to
run around 3 times, but if Mr. wolf catches you’re the new Mr. Wolf.
OBJECTIVE: To see who will be able to run around 3 times without being
caught.
EQUIPMENT: hoops, colored objects
KEY SKILLS: speed
SPACE REQUIREMENT: Half court
TIME REQUIREMENT: 4-6 minutes
CHINESE WHISPER
INSTRUCTION: Get at least five people, preferable 10 plus people.
Write a few messages down on paper that consist of at least ten words.
The message can be serious or downright silly. Have that person explain
the message to the next person by whispering it in their ear.
OBJECTIVE: The game goes on until the last person says whatever they
heard aloud and the first person reveals the real message. Compare
them and have a great laugh!
EQUIPMENT: None required

TIME REQUIREMENT: 5 minutes
TUG OF WAR
INSTRUCTION: 2 teams are made, Each team in a Tug of War
competition consists of eight people. Both teams pull the rope, the
winner being the team who manage to pull the mark on the rope closest
to their opponents over the center line. Matches are often a best of
three pull, the winner winning two out of the three pulls.
OBJECTIVE: the objective is to beat the competition and win the
match by winning at least two of the three pulls in the match.
EQUIPMENT: A long rope

TIME REQUIREMENT: 8 minutes
HUMAN TIC TAC TOE
INSTRUCTION: Use hula hoops to create a three by three grid with the
hoops in the shape of a tic tac toe board. Select the starting team. To
add a more physical aspect to this game, have teams race to a location
and back again. Award the first move to the team that wins the race.
Once the signal is given, players should run to the board and place their
marker in an open square. When that player returns and high five the
next teammate in line back at the start marker, that teammate can run
to place their marker and return to tag the next player, and so on.
OBJECTIVE: to determine which teams win three rounds.

MONKEY IN THE MIDDLE
INSTRUCTION: Two players will spin the jump rope while the rest of
the players try to get through without interrupting the spinning of the
jump rope.
OBJECTIVE: To get every player through the jump rope without
interrupting the spin of the jump rope.
EQUIPMENT: Jump Rope
KEY SKILLS: Jumping
SPACE REQUIREMENT: Half Court
TIME REQUIREMENT: 10 minutes
CRAB KICKBALL
INSTRUCTION: Choose 2 goals for the teams to reach. After dividing
the players into two equal-sized teams, seat them on the floor opposite
each other at each end of the room for the opposite team. Place a goal
at each end of the room for the opposite team. The coach or leader
gives a signal to start the play. All the players crab-walk to the ball
and kick it toward their team’s goal.
OBJECTIVE: The first team to score a particular amount of goals win.
EQUIPMENT: Kickball, Cones

SPACE REQUIREMENT: Full Court
TIME REQUIREMENT: 10 minutes
PICK-POCKET TAG (Or Tail Tag)
INSTRUCTION: Need Flags or a strip of cloth to be used as a tail.
Players have a tail inserted into his/her belt or pocket that is hanging at
the back-side.
All players chase one another trying to collect tails, while protecting
his/her own.
Players with the most tails collected in a specified time are the winners.
OBJECTIVE: To see the last person with their cloth in their pockets
EQUIPMENT: A strip of cloth
