And almost along every footpath, a common box bushes are grown very uniformly. Formal garden is created all over the campus which makes the university very dignified. VIT-AP University University Day was held on 3rd June 2023. Hon’ble education minister of Andhra Pradesh was invited as chief guest. Prize distribution was held for students and faculty in various events like academic performance etc. On the same evening a musical concert was held in front of central block from 5pm to 8pm. From the thrilling start of Welcome Week to the meaningful connections they formed during academic symposiums, cultural festivals, leadership conferences, charity drives, and the bittersweet graduation, these events creates a tapestry of unforgettable memories. Getting involved in charity drives organized by student clubs and organizations showcased the immense compassion within the university community. Whether collecting supplies for local shelters or fundraising for global causes, these events brought out the best in us, highlighting the strength of collective action and the transformative power of empathy and generosity. Newton hall, Einstien hall, AB-2 auditorium and amphitheatre are the venues for the cultural activities. when the clock hits 4pm on Saturday, every student plans to settle in any one of the interested designated venues to enjoy program. Every conducted event is an opportunity to make and take their stand in creativeness. Every event is organized with fore seeing every possibility. They are always designed and planned to bring the talent out of student. Every performer is awarded and encouraged. every planned cultural activity was a successful hit. Dr. Anupama Namburu With a goal and motto of "Guiding the path of student well-being, she worked as welfare coordinator where she empowers minds to thrive and ensures holistic growth." With this the most jolly and helpful person in the University Dr Anupama Namburu who was the Deputy Student welfare Coordinator of VIT-AP university played an Important Role by maintaining Student Holistic Development through Various Events and Activities along the academics of the student. Along with being the Student Welfare Coordinator, she is an Associate Professor in the SCOPE department for the University with more than 12 publications in well renowned journals and more than 120 citations in Google Scholar along with this Dr Anupama Namburu has also held more than 5 years of Industry experience which she intends to bring in her work and help in the growth of the students.

A Musical Extravaganza to Remember "Empowering women to shine, celebrate their achievements, and conquer new horizons on Women's Day!" with this motto the university celebrated international Womens day on 8th March 2023 ,with great pride and honour and to justify the true dignity and meaning of it the University invited the former Education Minister of India Mrs Daggubati Purandeswari who enlightened the audience and students through her words of wisdom on women empowerement and true meaning of encouraging women development , that Speaking on the occasion Mrs Daggubati Purandeswari, Former Union Minister and BJP National General Secretary said It is believed that women enjoyed equality and freedom of life in the Vedic period thousands of years ago. She could marry as per her wish and liberty to choose herlife partner of her choice. But it is because of some foreign invaders their liberty has been subdued. She said that empowering women makes the country more productive. She urged that the VIT-AP University must take initiatives to increase the women student strength from 32% in the university to 50% in the years to come. She requested the state and central governments to implement strict laws on prenatal detection of girl child. WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATIONS
VIT Zine 31 NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION VIT-AP School of Law (VSL) in collaboration with the Competition Commission of India (CCI), has organised the first National Moot Court Competition with the goal of developing high-quality research and debate on competition law issues between 15th and 17th April 2023. The two-day competition consisted of 150 students divided into 26 teams from around the nation. The competition was conducted in four rounds which included Preliminary Rounds and researchers test along with Quarter Finals on 16th April, Semi-Finals and Finals on 17th April followed by Valedictory program. The Chief Guests of the program were Justice Sri. K. Lakshman (Judge of High Court of Telangana), Justice Rao Raghunandan Rao (Judge of High Court of Andhra Pradesh),Ms. Pemala Lama (Deputy Director, Competition Commission of India), Justice G. Raghuram (High Court Judge (Retd)), Justice Satyanarayana Murthy, (Judge of High Court of Andhra Pradesh (Retd)) and Dr. K.D Singh, Director of Competition Commission of India, Government of India. NMCC winners were awarded with a Trophy, cash prize of Rs.10,00,000 and Free 1 year of SCC Online Subscription for the team, medals and certificates for the participants of the team. Runner up team was awarded with a Trophy, cash prize of Rs.70,000 and Free 1 year of EBC Online Subscription for the team and individual medals and certificates for the participants. The Best Advocate prize is awarded to the participant who performed best during his/her oral presentations in the preliminary rounds and the prize consists of a Trophy and a cash prize of Rs.15,000. There was Best Memorial Award and cash prize of Rs.15,000 based on the memorials submitted to the VSLMCC committee. At the end of the event, every participant received certificate of participation. 33 The hard-work, consistent learning, new experiences and lots memories in our degree brings us to the last moment of college "Convocation". VITAP's 2021-2022 convocation filled the campus in lights. Freshers had a delightful experience of seeing their seniors walking to the campus with complete smiles and pride. They were welcomed with respect and college was decorated to make make them re-live in the moments. Convocation was held in Tanguturi Prakasam Panthulu Auditorium in AB-2. Students were informed with every detail and arrangements. Food, Photographers and Programs were arranged for the students. Many famous and successful people shared the convocation with the students and shared their experiences to make their next step easier. In the recent summer days, our university held a summer camp for government school students of nearby villages like ainavolu, velagapudi, sakhamuru which were adopted by institutes of football, basketball, cricket, yoga, and athletics. This summer camp is very well organized. The training will be given to students in the above-mentioned sports. Around 350 students participated. This camp is conducted from 25th April to 4th May. Each and every student is carefully taken care of by VIT-AP officials. We were very glad to hear from students that they got to learn something from this camp. The whole vibe of the summer camp is very positive. Coming to the facilities provided to these students-very hygienic food was provided to the participants and each student was gifted with t-shirts and shoes by VIT-AP University. We are very much honored to conduct summer camps and these will be continued further on -VITAP. THE SUMMER CAMP OF VIT-AP: VIT-AP University On 76th Independence Day, our university felicitated 3 APRSTC drivers,11 fire service personnels and 3 policemen for saving the lives of people by discharging their duties diligently On the occasion of 74th Republic Day happened on 26th January 2023 our university felicitated6 fire services personnel, 7 APSRTC drivers and a conductor. Along with the felicitation, motivation speech which inspire the students were given by the chief guests in the event. Events like “Felicitation of Unsung Heroes” motivates students and faculty to congratulate the brave heroes of our society. Felicitating Unsung Heroes VIT-AP always stands first to appreciate and congratulate people for their hard work and the courage they show in the real world.
