Chavez’s life

My first friend

I was 3 at my house playing soccer with my dad, we were just
passing each other the ball.After he told me to shoot at him so i did and
i kicked it to high. It ended up landing in the neighbor's house. My dad
told me i had to go apologize and get the ball so i walked over there.
We walked over and knocked and a 4 year old boy opens the door. His
mom comes running to the door and asks what happened. We told her
what happened and i apologized and she said it was okay. After that
she gave us our ball. So we started to leave but before we left she said
if alvaro could play with us and my dad said of course, so he came to
our house and we played a while. After that we started playing more
and more together.

TMy first time getting stitches!

It was a normal day, but we went to my friends house I forgot for
what. When we got there we waited and watched T.V till Kenneth
arrived. When kenneth got there we wanted to do something fun, so we
went outside and he asked if we wanted to ride the mini motorcycle and
of course we said yes. So my friend Emanuel got the helmets. I went
first and we went around the block once and my mom told me to not
ride it anymore, but I said nothing’s gonna happen. We went for
another ride around the block. When we were coming back i went off
the sidewalk because we had to get through the alley and when I went
down the sidewalk i lost control and i couldn’t break, so i went straight
into a wooden pole. It didn’t hurt at all, but it did rip my addidas pants.
After, that we kept going to the house and my knee felt wet. When we
arrived outside the house i pulled up my addidas pants and i had blood
gushing down my leg. Then they ran into the house and got me paper
to clean the blood. Once i cleaned it i went to show my mom and she
said hurry lets go to the hospital and i said it didn’t even hurt, but she
said i needed to get stitches because it was to deep.

My first soccer finals

I was 10 my team got to the soccer tournament final. My whole
family was there to support me, not only my mom and dad but my
brothers, sisters, and grandparents were there to support me. At first
the game was tied 0-0 all the way to half time. Then 10 minutes in my
friend Adrian scored a free kick that put us 1 step into victory. Then
the other team had a corner. A kid named Gino centered it and another
named Fernando head eres it in. Now we were tied 1-1 with 5 minutes
left in the game. Everyone had their head down thinking we were going
to penalties but I still had hope.The keeper Emmanuel had the ball. He
kicked it and it bounced over the defender, so franky had a breakaway.
He ran down the whole line and centers it into the box but the defender
headers it out. The ref calls out 1 more minute and now everyone is
nervous. The ball bounces 10 feet in front of me, everyone is watching
now I'm scared but confident. As the ball approaches me I volley it, the
crowd stops watching the ball soar through the air then quickly swoop
down into the bottom left corner. Everyone screams goallllllllllllllllll.

My first baby brother

I was also ten at the time my brother was born. My mom rushed to
the hospital with my dad around 10 in the night. I stayed with my
grandma, sister and two cousins. We stayed up playing FIFA for a
while, then we watched La Rosa de Guadalupe when all of a sudden my
sister gets a text from my dad. Everyone got excited and when she
opened it, there he was a picture of my new baby brother Jozef. Then
my dad comes to pick us up and we were very excited. We walk into
the room and see my baby brother for the first time and I was scared to
see the kind of naughty things he's gonna do.

About the author

My name is Roberto Chavez and I was born in Long Beach ,
California on May 13, 2004. I have 1 brother and two sisters. My
brothers name is Jozef and my sisters names are Lizeth and Jazmin.
My parents are named Roberto and Patricia. I've played soccer since i
was 4 and also lived in the same house since I was born. I play the
clarinet and bass clarinet for the school band. I also do boxing at the
fabela Chavez boxing gym.
