If such an incident occurs, the urgent thing to do is to stop the damage as soon as possible. The main steps are as follows: I accidentally lost money to a scammer. What should I do? Please contact the bank where you have an account to freeze the destination bank account as soon as possible The bank will verify the ownership of the victim’s account and will then issue a Bank Case ID or reference number to the victim via SMS for the victim to report to the police station (if it is a technology crime, such as various forms of online fraud, you can report online at https:// thaipoliceonline.com 24 hours a day). After the bank checks and finds irregularities or finds that the destination account that received the victim’s money transfer is involved in financial fraud or money laundering, it will immediately coordinate to freeze the destination account for 72 hours.
