apa itu R&B?

Rhythm and Blues , biasanya dikenali sebagai

R&B, ialah genre muzik yang dibangunkan oleh
Black Americans pada tahun 1940-an yang telah
diperhalusi secara berterusan sehingga kini.
R&B berasal daripada muzik gospel, jazz, folk
dan blues tradisional dan muncul seiring
dengan muzik rock.

Muzik R&B mula terkenal pada akhir 1940-
an dengan penyanyi dan band Cab

Calloway, The Harlem Hamfats, Count
Basie, Louis Jordan dan lain-lain. “Istilah
Rhythm & Blues” (R&B) pertama kali

dicipta pada tahun 1948 oleh wartawan
muzik yang menjadi penerbit rekod Jerry
