FAHSION NEWS 01 GUNUNG AYAM This Gunung Ayam features unusual flora and wildlife, including species that are unique to this peak. There is a lot of vegetation with therapeutic properties here. BACHOK MARAK HILL "HILLS ARE THE STRENGTH OF THE EARTH. THEY ARE ALSO THE MARKS OF ITS BEAUTY." M arak hill is one of the famous hill in Kelantan because it has a history besides the hill. Marak hill is located at Bachok, Kelantan . Besides hiking this hill also closely related to the historical story of Puteri Sa’adong and thus has great significane in the history of the Sultanate of Kelantan. History said that Puteri Sa’adong taken herself away from the Mahligai Palace because she was disappointed with the rising tide. There was an argument between Puteri Sa’adong and King Abdullah because he broke his promise to remain loyal to Puteri Sa’adong. The argument between them led to the death of King Abdullah. King Abdullah’s throne has been replaced by King Abdul Rahim who is King Abdullah’s younger brother. The hill has some attractions for tourists and draws thousands of visitors every weekend both for hiking and for sightseeing because of the strategic hill area and only 24 kilometers from Kota Bharu, Kelantan. H owever, the hill is negatively affected by the excavation of soil for use in land reclamation . Aside from the damage to the historical site, this also may introduce the danger of mudslides and landslides during the monsoon season. 02

MOUNT CHAMAH : GUA MUSANG , KELANTAN "IN EVERY WALK WITH NATURE, ONE RECEIVES FAR MORE THAN HE SEEKS." The closest village to this mountain is about 40- 50km away. For a safe journey, it's important to have an experienced guide to avoid getting lost. To reach the outside world, you'll need to take a boat trip across Lake Temenggor, which takes about 3 hours.
