2019

Dear Parents and Families, Upcoming Events

The theme of the last month 'Children of the World' inculcated an un- Christmas Carnival
derstanding that the whole world is one family. The month commenced 21.12.19
with an introduction to the culture, cuisines, and languages of different
countries. Children were apprised of different countries and their Birthday celebration
unique geographical features. They were also introduced to fictitious 24.12.19
pen friends living in different countries and they prepared greeting cards
for them. Birthday Bash
The theme 'Children of the World' was reinforced through various crafts
and activities like 'Maple Leaf craft', 'Japanese Fan craft, 'African Head- Ziana Puthran
gear' and 'Pen Friend card'. Children were fascinated with all these ac- 12.12.16
tivities and thoroughly enjoyed them.
To commemorate the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, we orga- Lovey Rajput
nized a special assembly and 'Langar' for our kids. The school campus 21.12.15
was enchanted with hymns of 'Ek Onkar'. Children also made 'Ek On-
kar' headgear craft. Vrishank Sharma
On the occasion of Children’s Day, we also organized a donation 28.12.16
camp – ‘UMEED KI KIRAN’ to help those in need. It was heartwarm-
ing to see parents coming up and helping for a good cause. Theme for the month -
The children came dressed in formal wear during Model United Nations WINTER WONDERLAND
and looked adorable They represented different countries and gave self-
introduction in different languages. They hugged each other to spread
the message of universal love and brotherhood.

Another theme of the month was 'Safety Everywhere', and students
learned a variety of factors that contribute to safety in different contexts.
We taught kids safety rules in different places. We hope that by teach-
ing our students fundamental safety tips, we can encourage them to take
appropriate precautions. Teachers also did role play related to stranger
safety to teach students how to be safe from strangers.
