INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMMES IN SHIV VANI

The school collaborated with Poongmoon School, South Korea on a
project titled, “The Story of Wars –A Comprehensive Study of Various Aspects
of War. At the end of the project, a culture box was exchanged where students

journey and are the best way to explore and experience the subjects in the most creative manner. Each

Teaching is a noble calling and
teachers have the ability to shape leaders
of the future in the best way for society.
Teachers seldom feel the need to
celebrate because teaching itself is a
matter of celebration for them. But on
Teacher's Day they move out of the
classrooms and staffrooms and get
together to meet, interact and celebrate.
Shiv Vani teachers came together on
September 5 to attend a wonderful
Teacher's Day programme hosted by the
newly joined staff of the school. It was a
day of relaxation, refreshment and
recreation.

Inter House Activities

“Champions do not become champions when they win the event, but in the hours, weeks,
months and years they spend preparing for it. The victorious performance itself is merely the

demonstration of their championship character.”

The Inter-House Activities kick-started with the Poster Making Competition in August. We had
many amazing themes for competitions this year. Budding story writers unleashed their creativity during
the Story Writing Competition. All the acting enthusiasts rose to the occasion by presenting street plays
on various socially relevant issues. To appreciate the beauty of poetry and ignite a love for language,
poetry recitation competitions were held. Debate, Declamations and Group Discussions opened up a
platform to voice our opinions, improve communication skills and to present the arguments effectively.
The art lovers lit up the school with their intricate and colourful Rangoli patterns. The stage came alive
with the euphonious voice of our singers and rhythmic movements of our dancers.

At the end of an exciting round of competitions, the Overall Championship Trophy was won by
Aravali House. The Runner-up Trophy was won by Shivalik House.

Every competition brought
new challenges and responsibilities. We faced
them with grit and courage because winning or losing
never worried us, our sole aim was to give our best. This
spirited endeavour of teachers and students brought
laurels in many competitions. We won Runner Up Trophy in
inter -house cultural activities. I would like to thank all the
members of Shivalik House for making this session a

successful one.

discussion, Declamation, Rangoli, Solo Dance,

Virtual Farewell Meet for Mrs. Rekha Verma

Mrs. Rekha Verma has served the school for 33 years
as a TGT in Hindi.

Mrs. Rekha Verma has been a valued member of the
school's journey through all the ups and downs of Shiv Vani.
All the staff members and students cherish her for her
awesome talent as a poet and for inspiring and nurturing
countless students of Shiv Vani to be budding poets, writers
and orators. She has fostered and inculcated the love of our
'मा भाषा' among the students. We wish her all the very best.
