The Golden Valley Football Booster Club is proud to present this series of unique Home Game Program
featuring the latest pictures of your favorite Football, Cheer, Band and Dance teams. Each home

game will offer a new program with more pictures, including information on the Homecoming
Court, Senior Night athletes and more! Collect them all and have the entire 2017 season’s highlights.




Recognizing everyone that makes our game nights possible is important to us. for without their
participation it would not be possible: our Coaching staff, Football team, Cheer squad, Band, Dance
team, ROTC Color Guard, and ASB. We can never say enough to THANK our many volunteers who

have given so generously of their time and effort to run the canteen, work the booths, and the field
crew and all of those so work so tirelessly behind the scenes. Special thanks goes out to all of our

The Season of Ed Santos






Shortly before school started, the Cheerleaders Head Coach, Ed Santos,


passed away unexpectantly. He left behind Cheerleaders, dancers,


students, parents, and co-workers who knew him as a friend, mentor,

family or maybe even all of the above. In honor of the loss of his


bright light in our lives this year is being dedicated to him in several ways.

The Cheerleaders are dedicating this year to him with hopes of reaching


new heights and fulfilling the goals he had set for this year.

Football is dedicating this season to Ed and wearing a memorial


“ES” sticker on their helmets, which also appears on our program covers.

Band has also dedicated a new pep tune, one that Ed had requested,


the “Hey” song (Dr Who for us 80’s kids) - rebranded in his honor


to be theo be the “Hey...Ed” song. Ed will be missed by
t
all who knew him.
