New initiatives and positive outcomes

I do wish to acknowledge the special efforts of the
individual members of the SAPOL Coronial Investigation
Section...I particularly mention the work of Detective
Investigator Shaun Osborn who has displayed special
initiative in coordinating circumstantial identifications by
gathering evidence such as photographs of distinctive
tattoos and prosthetic limbs, etc. Such attention to detail
gives a Coroner greater confidence when approving
circumstantial identifications.

Helping Adelaide people in need

Shaun frequently joins me to assist the
homeless in South Australia with care and
compassion. His attitude and sense of decency
exemplify what a true community leader and

Community Bus Driving SHAUN OSBORN

Since 2010 I have been a volunteer bus driver for Experience
the City of Unley Community Bus Program. Commitment
My contributions over the many years have been
almost fortnightly, serving a customer base of Results
mainly elderly and disabled local people.
Passengers of this service rely on the transport
provided for their shopping and social activities.

Educating young road users

The Southern Districts Car Club is very proud
to have Shaun Osborn as a major contributor to
its Junior Development Program. Since 2011
Shaun has personally delivered information to
children about road safety, accident avoidance
and the fundamentals of being a safe young
road user on the important issue of road safety.

Connecting with Multicultural Adelaide

Over many years I have met and bonded with
people from all regions of the world and built
countless friendships of incredible diversity.
With nearly half (49% [2016 Census]) of our
population being either born overseas or that
applying to at least one parent, our nation is
becoming one of the world’s most multicultural.
I have a positive, high profile across Adelaide’s
multicultural communities in the electorate that
would bring votes to the Liberal party. This
is due to both my volunteer work and large
amount of time spent genuinely with the people
concerned.

Violence and abuse within families and particularly
against children is a major social problem in
Australia. Through my work with S.A. Police and in
community volunteer roles I have seen the ultimate
impact of such behaviour and attitudes. I am a
constant campaigner against all forms of violence
in society. In this battle I will always give my time,
experience and resources. I regularly contribute
to anti-violence programs and events and provide
front-line victim advice and support.

Connecting with the Sikh Community SHAUN OSBORN

Over the past 2 years I have developed a strong Experience
bond with Sikhs in Adelaide, particularly through Commitment
the Garu Nanak Society. I am a frequent visitor
to the Sikh temple in Allenby Gardens where Results
I volunteer and assist the members in my
personal and professional capacities.

free public street party, held
in Gouger Street, Adelaide
had an attendance of
over 25,000 people. In
July 2018 Shaun initiated
and managed a charity
fundraiser for local
business owners affected
by an accidental fire that
raised more than $25,000.
Shaun continues to be
involved in Chinatown
Adelaide activities including
planning for many Chinese
cultural events ahead.

Shaun is a hardworking and highly intelligent individual
who is committed to the Liberal cause. He was a
key volunteer during the Fisher By-election who
assisted me tirelessly with door knocking, postering,
canvassing, letter boxing, supermarket listening
posts, pre-poll and on election day. I believe his
dedication to working on recent campaigns has seen
him gain the campaign experience to win the seat of
Adelaide during the next Federal election. I have no
doubt that he would be a passionate advocate for
the constituents of Adelaide and has all the personal
