Our team hasbeen very busy this offseason preparing for what we think will be our best season yet in2026. Our Golf Professionals are putting the finishing touches on the 2026 TournamentSchedule that we will debut at the SP Par-Tee on February 27 at Elmwood. That nightwill also be your first chance to stop out and see the brand-new clubhouse and LegendsLounge & Grille for yourself! Our Food & Beverage teams have been hard at work too asthey are preparing not only the Legends Lounge & Grille menus, but we will feature newfood offerings at Prairie Green and Kuehn Park for you this season as well. And as alwaysour Superintendents have been hard at it with their offseason projects. At Elmwood youwill notice a new range shack as well as a fresh new look to the pond on the West Course#4 this spring. Many people think we in the golf industry take a break in the offseason,but I’m here to tell you that is far from the truth.thOn the topic of new, we are excited to announce the promotion and hire of our newHead Superintendent at Prairie Green, Jared Corlett. He has been a member of our teamfor a few years now and has worked his way to the top. Jared brings a strong work ethic,leadership skills, and a willingness to learn new things. THANKYOUDanny!After almost three decades of service at your City courses, Danny Sinksen is venturing out to pursuehis dream of owning his own golf instruction academy here in Sioux Falls. While tenured with the Citycourses, Danny grew from a Golf Professional to the Director of Player Development in 2019. Duringthat time, he was often found on the driving range doing what he loves most, giving lessons andgrowing the game of golf. He also was vital in executing our Junior Golf Tour as well as otherinstructional programs such as Get Golf Ready, PGA Jr League, and others.Beginning this spring, Danny will open his brand new indoor academy, Iron Range Golf Performance,on the Northside of Sioux Falls. This new venture is something he is very passionate about and weknow that with his knowledge and skills he will be just as successful if not more going forward. All ofus at Sioux Falls Golf and Landscapes Golf Management wish Danny the best as he continues to growthe game in his new space with state of the art technology.
