Mother Nature thinks the 2021 golf season is over after the big dumping of white stuff
last Friday. Thankfully, she did supply us with many great days and extended
opportunities in 2021 so we cannot complain much. It is hard to believe the holiday season
has arrived.

Our Team at SF Golf would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season. It’s a
special time of year and we hope its extra special in 2022. It was so nice to see so many of
you last weekend during our SP Holiday Par-Tee. What an amazing turn out with 250 plus
people attending. We appreciated the opportunity to provide a little food, drinks, and fun
for our patrons who we appreciate greatly!

We have some congratulations to dole out for the season and some staff changes to
communicate. We will start with our Director of Player Development, Danny Sinksen, who
has been recognized for his contributions and abilities in teaching the game. The
Minnesota PGA/Dakotas Chapter has once again named him the Teacher of the Year. We
are lucky to have Danny leading things for us and are proud of his accomplishment!

Ryan Munro, our Head Superintendent at Prairie Green, the past three seasons has done
some extraordinary things with the playing surfaces at PG. We knew when we hired this
young star that keeping him would be a challenge. Many people recognized his talents and
achievements and that includes the Country Club of Sioux Falls who have made him their
Head Superintendent starting in 2022.We hate to lose Ryan, but are happy to see him earn
a position that was his “Dream Job”. Good look Ryan on your new adventure!

Finally, I want to communicate that Cat Clark, our Director of Sales & Marketing, has
completed the LGM Leadership Academy and will transition into an Assistant General
Manager role in 2022 for Sioux Falls Golf. As we continue to grow and accomplish more, we
are constantly looking at ways to make sure we provide a wonderful experience. This
promotion for Mr. Clark helps us with that commitment. Please tell Cat congratulations
when you see him!

the 2021 PGA Minnesota Sectional Player Development of the Year Award for the
Dakota Chapter. This is the second time Danny has received this award. The Player
Development Award is designed to recognize a PGA Professional for extraordinary
and exemplary contributions and achievements in the area of player development.
This award considers the PGA Professional’s growth of the game leadership
commitment at the Section and National levels and the impact made at the facility.
