As I write this month’s newsletter it strikes me that it is already time for kids to go
back to school. Fall is already here, and I can’t wait for cooler temps and amazing playing
conditions. Although, based on the consistent and constant compliments on our course
conditions I think it is safe to say they are already amazing. Special thanks must go out
to our dedicated superintendents and grounds crews for the summer efforts. We are
blessed to have a highly educated and experienced agronomy team at SF Golf. Over the
next month we will be aerifying the greens at each facility. We will remain open and
maneuver play around the work. With a little sand and heavy rolling, they should
remain good for play and be back in great shape before we know it.

Fall is a great time to play golf and we still have plenty to offer in terms of fun events
to participate in down the home stretch of the season. If you have not participated in
one of our unique and fun events don’t be shy. Our Couples Casino Night is Friday
September 25th, you won't want to miss this event! Take a look at the calendar and
don’t hesitate to contact your Head Golf Professionals if you have any questions. We
would love to see you join us yet in 2021!

My last topic this month revolves around staffing. We put a great team of summer help
together that provided very good service. Many are headed back to school as we speak.
We couldn’t do what we do without these amazing young people. Please don’t be afraid
to wish them well as many head to college and say thank you one last time. They will
appreciate it.

We appreciate your patronage and choosing to enjoy the game of golf with us. We
know there are many choices in Sioux Falls for golf and we take great pride in offering
the best golf experience we can for everyone. We hope you continue to enjoy what we
offer and stay a part of the Sioux Falls Golf family as we move from 2021 into 2022. As

AFTER EIGHT QUALIFYING EVENTS THE FIELD HAS BEEN SET FOR THE
2021 MAYOR'S CUP! THIS YEAR MARKS THE SECOND ANNUAL EVENT
AFTER TEAM PRAIRIE GREEN CAPTURED THE CUP IN 2020 LED BY
CAPTAIN CHRIS LANE. THIS YEAR'S FIELD HAS SOME FAMILIAR FACES
RETURNING WITH SEVERAL FIRST TIME QUALIFIERS.

THE SEASON LONG POINTS WINNER WAS PAUL KABLITZ, HOWEVER A
RECENT INJURY WILL KEEP HIM OUT OF THE TWO-DAY EVENT. THAT
MAKES KURT PETERSEN THE TOP POINT GETTER IN THE FIELD.
PETERSEN IS ALSO ONE OF ONLY THREE THAT PARTICIPATED IN ALL
EIGHT QUALIFYING EVENTS THAT ALSO INCLUDES NICK KRUSE &
ANTHONY SHAWD. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT! OF THE 36
