interview with our community manager colleague from Italy.

TEAM BUILDING
So this past month, The Toluna Community Managers had a team building day. We
received games and other nice items for this day & for lunch breaks.
We received a Swedish game to play outside. You can watch our Team Building video
below!
SUMMER TEMPERATURES
In the month on April we already had temperatures up to 28 degrees, we are hoping
that this nice weather will continue throughout the month of May! It's starting to look
& smell great outside due to the beautiful flowers & trees!

MANAGER OF ITALY Elena
1. How did you start at Toluna & what do you like most
about your job?
I’ve started working in Toluna because I was looking for
opportunities to work abroad and use the expertise I gained over
time, and Toluna seemed to be the best match for me! What I like
most about Toluna is about all the great friendships that are born by
being part of its community.
2. What is your Italian view on Egyptian people & their country?
I have never been to Egypt unfortunately, but I would love to go. I
think that the pyramids are amazing and so gorgeous. Also, my idea
of Egyptians is that they have very good food & a very friendly
culture. I am planning to go to Egypt sometime soon!

3. What is your favourite Italian food?
My favourite Italian food is lasagne! Haha!
4. What do you think Italy does better than any other country?
I think that Italy is the best country in terms of food and cooking. We do have a
deep heritage for that and that makes me really proud!
5. Do you have something you’d like
to say to the Egyptian members?
What I would like to say to the Egyptian members is to enjoy as much as they
can the whole community, all the friends they will find in it, all the amazing
contests created by your CM, all the initiatives and so on!

purpose?
Answer:
I believe in the power of consumers and their ability to give their opinion, express themselves,
interact with the brand they like. Consumers are leading product innovation and our main goal
for creating Toluna was to empower the consumers

Answer:
There are many explanations. Choose yours:)
One is that we aim for the moon... shoot for the moon so to say. Another explanation is that we
are on a discovery mission, helping consumers and people makes better decision.

I believe in step by step accomplishments. You cannot climb the Everest before you have
climbed the mountain next door. When we got the site live that was a big accomplishment.
Today my feeling of accomplishment comes from seeing the millions of people who actively
participate and Influence their World.

Answer:
I trust people so I do not need to be undercover. But I like understanding how people work and
what they see that could be improved.

You cannot give up on yourself and who you are. Things change and things evolve. So I guess
Toluna will always be with me even when I am old and retired. That part of me will always be
there. But Toluna is not just me. It is the millions of influencers and the thousands of global
