My life experiences

Going to Mexico

When me and my sister went to mexico we were amazed at how fun is was to be
there. When we first got to mexico went to our grandmas house to eat and we got to
see our cousins for the first time. The day after, we got to see more of my grandma's
house and we went to church as well. A couple of days after that we went to a local
waterpark to cool of since it was hot. It was also the first time i ever went to a
waterpark. We went to the plaza to eat and we got to play some games with my
cousins as well. We then went to our aunts house we got ready to go to lake nearby.
We got to play in the lake and catch fish to eat as well. When we only had 1 week left,
we decided to visit my aunt who is a sister at church. We got to eat cake and more
food like tamales and other mexican cuisines. Is was fun and it was the first time i
ever got to see my aunts in person and made me more connected to them after that
experience.



The Tale of Sparky

We first got sparky when he was a few weeks old and i was only 6 or 7 at the time. We got
him from a parking lot and we bought him because me and my siblings wanted to get a dog. This
would be the first dog we ever got. We headed to a store to get some supplies and to feed sparky,
when we got home is was already night and we gave him food and water and then we put him in
our shed. It was nice and warm so he wouldn’t get cold and he had food and water.the following
day we decided to name the dog sparky because of that one dog in Frankenweenie. A few days
later and he grew 12 feet long or so. We took him to the park frequently to play with him and he
loved running a lot. He never barked at anyone and he grew a short white mustache and he was
black and white. He didn’t like water and would run away if there was water. He did die
unfortunately but he did make me love dogs more and animals in general.



Los posadas

Every december, my church host a posada were you can eat and celebrate the day
of jesus’s birth for a whole week. Each night you would go to the church and pray. When
you go inside you finish praying and sing some songs. When you head outside, people
hand out bags of candy and you get to eat. Some things you can eat there is conchas,
champorado, tamales, and other sweets. Sometimes you get to break a pinata. When it’s
the last day of the posadas you get to play games and they mare food like popcorn and
other things. The reason i like going to the posadas is because i get to experience
something that is from my culture and it’s a great way to connect with my family
members.



My first console

When i was 5 or 6 i got my first ever console, a xbox 360. The first game i played
on the xbox was brothers in arm, my dad played it all the time and it made me more
interested in games. I told my dad if he could get minecraft because i saw youtubers at
the time playing it. I loved minecraft and played almost every day and i also played
angry birds for the xbox. It made me more interested in games and made me the
person i am today. I'm really glad i got to be able to play on a console.

Sergio is a 13 year old who was born in san pedro
and later moved to torrance. He was born on the
26th of august, 2008. He like to play video games
and draw. He hates math and likes science. He has
two dogs, one black and the other white, and 2
finches. He can’t swim and hates beans.
