GRAND TRAVERSE BAY YMCA
2021
IMPACT REPORT
ONWARD
It is often said that good things come to those who OFFICERS: 2021
wait, and the Grand Traverse Bay YMCA is no exception.
As we created our 2021 annual report, we truly realized MEMBERS: 2021
how much we have to be thankful for as we worked to
emerge from the pandemic. Bob Sutherland
Christie Dompierre
While 2020 provided all of us unforeseen and often Dave Rowe
overwhelming challenges, 2021 provided us with great Ernie Maas
opportunities to recover and move forward. Kelli Mengebier
Kerry Kalbfleisch
More and more of our members came back each and Marshall Collins
every day, participation in our programs rebounded and Stephanie Walton
the Y sta remained eager and resilient through it all. Steve Merten
We realized the step-by-step approach to our recovery Christi Nowak
and the service delivery we provide our community was Derek Peters
the right strategy despite our desire to fix it all as Jeff Rademacher
quickly as we could. Kevin Klein
2022 and beyond shows great promise for the Grand
Traverse Bay YMCA and much of that promise has to do
with the tremendous support we have received from all of
you in the most challenging and unpredictable of times.
Thank you for all you do not only for the Y, but for the
amazing community we are all blessed to serve!
