LEVEL DESCRIPTIONS

1. YOUTH RECREATIONAL: The recreational level is meant to
introduce kids to a sport or activity without a heavy commitment. Give
your kids a new experience every month with these monthly programs.
2. YOUTH ACADEMY: Academy is meant to engage kids who
know what activities and sports they like and now want to focus on
improving their skills and endurance in those sports.
3. YOUTH COMPETITIVE: Competitive level is for the aspiring,
serious athletes. This level requires a bigger time commitment and will
push kids to achieve their potential in their sport.
4. YOUTH SPORTS: YMCA youth sports are different. Unlike
the typical pressure for kids to start at age 3 and put the largest
emphasis on winning, we emphasize a different set of values in our
sports.
5. YOUTH SPECIALTY: Specialty offerings are programs that don’t
fit squarely into a category, but nonetheless provide an awesome
experience for your kids!
