1991 Started as a trading company in Chennai under the name of 'RD Engineers'. 2007 Inaugurated our first manufacturing facility in Sriperumbudur, Chennai under the name of ‘M.S. Tools & Manufacturing’ (MSTM). 2012 Converted existing organization to Pvt. Ltd. Company with an employee strength of 20. Started in-house PVD tool coating service, ‘AddLife Coatings’, a group company. 2015 Upgraded our complete CNC machine setup to international tool & cutter grinders from ANCA Australia for superior tool quality and production. 2016 Expanded our inspection capabilities with acquiring of best-in-class Zoller Genius 3s inspection machine. 2019 Opening of R&D division with acquisition of DMG Mori NVX 5060 2nd Gen 3-axis VMC & Pro-Micron’s Spike rotating force dynamometer for complete in-house tool design development and testing. Upgraded to world’s best coating technology, HiPIMS enabling high performance in hard machining. 2020 MSTM was awarded trademark for broader recognition. www.mstm.co.in RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT DMG MORI NVX 5060 (VMC) We have a 3-axis DMG Mori NVX 5060 2nd Gen VMC for our R&D machining requirements. With its heavy duty bed, the high rigidity allows us to machine a variety of materials ranging from aluminium to difficult-to-machine HRSAs. The high-speed through-coolant spindle capble of running upto 15,000 RPM ensures us a wide tool diameter testing range. Pro Micron HSKA63 Spike Holder For tool force measurements while machining, we use a rotating force dynamometer from Pro-Micron (Germany) called Spike. Spike provides the opportunity to compare the current tool state with the target state, which enables to diagnose a worn tool or an unbalance in machining. It can even detect chatter marks and shows process fluctuations enabling us to optimize various tool operating parameters. Tool Force Measurement from Spike M.S. Tools & Manufacturing Company Pvt.
