Membership in Benvenue Country Club is a time-honored tradition here in eastern North Carolina. We have been part of Rocky Mount since 1922 and we have always prided ourselves on our association with the community at large, and our long-standing tradition of exceptional service to our members and their guests. Everyone will find a warm welcome and a place to call their second home at Benvenue Country Club. Benvenue Country Club is located minutes from downtown Rocky Mount, North Carolina on pristine land featuring lakes, streams and rolling hills. Benvenue Country Club is proud to have the finest country club facilities east of Raleigh, and our members often form strong, family-like bonds. Benvenue Country Club members enjoy not only top-quality golf on our 18- hole golf course designed by the legendary Donald Ross, but also access to our tennis complex featuring six Har Tru tennis courts, two pickleball courts, and a recently added full-service fitness center. A Junior Olympicsize swimming pool, locker room and/or changing facilities in each of the previously described areas, and an award-winning Golf Pro Shop round out the athletic amenities. Of course, no country club would be complete without dining amenities. Members can choose to dine in the Benvenue Bistro with its casual, family-friendly atmosphere, the Donald Ross Lounge with its warm, lounge-like feel, or on our patio with the best view in Rocky Mount. Our ballroom and other event rooms, available for business or social events, fill up quickly. Our talented chefs and the rest of our culinary team, as well as our beverage specialists, offer dining experiences that are unmatched in Rocky Mount. Various social events, including monthly events hosted by the Friends of the Vine Beverage Appreciation Club, are quite popular not only because of the fun and camaraderie, but also the incredibly good food and beverage that is served.
