Scene 1 (Prologue)Location : Iqah’s house, living room where she does the Tarot Card readingThe scene starts with a text showing ‘2023’. Then, a shot of the living room. Smoke fills theroom while it is illuminated by dark lighting. A man walks slowly towards a table where Iqah is.Iqah is spreading Tarot Cards around.Vasan : Helo, saya datang nak tilik nasib. Uhh, ini Madam Aniqah kan?Iqah : Ya. Sila duduk.The man sits down. Iqah collects all the spread out cards and arrange them into a deck. Then,she shuffles the cards.Iqah : Apa yang encik nak tahu?Vasan : Oh, dah boleh start eh. Okay. (coughs)Vasan : Macam ni madam, saya ni seorang businessman. Saya ada company sendiri.Company bukan calang-calang, madam. Boleh kira berjaya jugak lah. Cumasekarang ni, saya ada dilemma sikit. Saya nak besarkan lagi company saya, tapibanyak pakai duit, so saya takut sikit nak ambil risiko ni.Iqah : Jadi encik datang ni, nak tahu sama ada keputusan yang encik buat ni, yangbetul lah?Vasan : Hah betul tu! Boleh tolong saya kan madam?Iqah stops shuffling the cards. She picks three cards from the deck and lays them out on thetable face-down.Iqah : Dari 22, tiga dipilih. Dengan ini, nasib ditilik. (snaps fingers)Iqah then starts her reading by flipping up one of the cards.Iqah : The Moon. Kad ini melambangkan ketidakpastian dan illusi. Ada beberapafaktor yang tersembunyi dalam pelaburan yang encik akan buat.Vasan : Aduhh, so memang ada risiko lah, madam?Iqah does not reply and continues her reading.Iqah : The Hanged Man. Suatu masa nanti encik akan rasa gelisah, dan tidak tenang.Encik juga perlu korbankan sesuatu, supaya betul-betul boleh berjaya.2
Vasan : Korban eh madam. Aduh, macam tak meyakinkan je ni.The man starts to get nervous and shakes his leg in anticipation for the last card.Iqah : Dan untuk kad yang terakhir…Iqah flips up the last cardIqah : The Sun.Iqah does not explain further. The couples are confused.Vasan : Apa maksudnya Madam?Iqah : (smiles) Kad ini antara yang terbaik untuk muncul. Ia bagaikan matahari yangdatang selepas hujan. Matahari yang membawa kejayaan.Vasan : Maksudnya Madam?Iqah : (Holds out her hand to shake) Tahniah, encik akan makin kaya.The man’s expressions went from anxious to happy.Vasan : Eh seriouslah madam. Terima kasih madam! Terima kasih! (while shakinghands with Iqah). Okay kalau madam cakap macam tu, saya laburkan duit saya.The man was ready to leave the room, but then Iqah fakes a cough and holds out her hand,demanding the payment.Vasan : Oh, ini dia Madam. Bayarannya.Iqah : Terima kasih. Ingat ya, jangan hilang harapan. Pelaburan kamu tu pasti berjaya.Vasan : Baik Madam. Terima kasih juga.The man walks out of the room. Iqah, counts the money she has in her hands, and smiles.3
Scene 2Location: Restaurant / Iqah’s HouseThe scene starts with the text “2024”. It shows Iqah in a restaurant. She’s scrolling on her phonewhile images of horrors happening around the world flashes on the screen while she does aninner monologue.Iqah : (voiceover) Aku seorang nihilis. Aku percaya hidup di dunia ni, takdamakna. Peperangan, kelaparan, kemiskinan, dan wabak-wabak maut melandamanusia di seluruh bumi. Aku bertuah dapat lahir di negara yang aman. Tapi,hidup di dunia ini, duit masih diperlukan. Pekerjaan biasa tak mampu tampungkos hidup zaman sekarang.Cuts to her preparing her Tarot Card reading session at her house.Iqah : Jadi, aku buat side business. Aku jadi tukang tilik. Madam Aniqah[Montage] She meets several customers, usually students, young adults or couples.Iqah : Aku belajar cara menyusun kad dari ahli silap mata, supaya tilikan yang akukeluarkan, semuanya baik. Manusia suka dengar berita baik, jadi mereka takpernah mensyaki aku. Demi mendapatkan harapan di dunia yang kejam,mereka sanggup keluarkan duit. Jika mereka gembira, apa salahnya sayamenerima duit mereka?Cut back to Iqah in the restaurant. Mimi comes up to her and sits at the same table. Mimi istalking on her phone.Iqah : (still voiceover) Mimi, seorang doktor perubatan. Satu-satunya kawan aku darizaman belajar. Aku kenal dia sebab ex-boyfriend dia dulu classmate aku.Walaupun diorang dah putus, kami berdua masih berkawan.Mimi : Hehe sorry, boss tiba-tiba call.Mimi notices that Iqah is reading news on her phone.Mimi : You ni, tak habis-habis baca berita buruk. Tengok lah youtube ke, tiktok ke. NahI ada belikan air.Iqah : Takde faedah tengok semua benda tu. Baca berita baru ada manfaat.Mimi : Yala, tapi you ni 24 jam dengan berita-berita buruk tu. Nanti sampai mimpiburuk baru tau. Ha, semalam pun tak cukup tidur ke? Nampak penat je mata you4
tu.Iqah : Semalam ramai sikit customer. Nak layan kerenah sorang-sorang, memanglambat lah aku tidur.Mimi : Eh, you baca-baca itu tarot you pakai ilmu apa ah? Ada pakai hantu ah? Youtak takut ke.Iqah : Takde hantu lah. Kau ingat benda ni betul ke. Tipu-tipu je lah.Mimi : I tanya saja. Nak you hati-hati.Iqah : Jangan risau lah, Mimi. Aku ni dah besar, pandai jaga diri sendiri. Dahlah jomorder. Lapar dah ni.Mimi : Okay. ( She raises her hand to call out the waiter)Iqah : (Voiceover) Beginilah Mimi. Selalu bagi nasihat kat aku, walaupun aku takdengar. Dia tetap sudi jadi kawan aku. Aku bersyukur ada kawan macam dia.5
Scene 3Location : Iqah’s Bedroom / Iqah’s houseIqah has fallen asleep, yet her phone is still on. The screen shows videos of news channelreporting of war and hungry children around the world. Iqah’s eyes started twitching. She ishaving a nightmare.There is also a figure that appears in her dream. The figure seems to be an old woman, but theplace was a bit dark, and she can not see the face of that woman. The experience is creepy andeerie, which makes Iqah wake up.Iqah is breathing heavily. She looks at the clock, and it is still early for her to be up. So she goesto the kitchen to grab something to drink. She does not bother to switch on the light so it is quitedark. While on the way back to her room, Iqah bumps into the table where she does herreading, which causes some of the Tarot Cards to fall on the floor. Before she picks them up,she realizes that the cards that fell are The Tower, The Devil and The Death.Iqah is worried, but she ultimately ignores it because she was sleepy and went straight to bed.6
Scene 4Location: Somewhere outside.Iqah and Mimi are sitting together. Iqah told Mimi about her experience last night. Iqah ismassaging her head because she has a headache, while also scrolling on her phone, readingnews.Mimi : The Tower, The Devil, The Death. Apa maksud dia?Iqah : Selalunya, kalau tilikan buruk, tiga kad ni lah yang keluar.Mimi : And you cakap ada perempuan tua keluar dalam mimpi you. So, tilikan buruk niuntuk dia ke? Atau untuk you? Eh jangan-jangan, itu hantu Tarot sudah kacauyou.Iqah : Tak tahu lah Mimi. Biar lah, aku pening ni, malas nak fikir pasal benda tu. Kauada bawak ubat tak?Mimi : Hmm, tulah I cakap, jangan asyik main phone, baca berita buruk. Kan sekarangdah mimpi benda bukan-bukan. Nah, minum ni. I nak pegi tandas jap.Mimi pours some medicine for Iqah and gives it to her. Iqah takes and drinks them. She thencontinues scrolling on her phone. Just then, she sees a post of people calling her a scammer.She was shocked. She then scrolls a bit more and sees a few more similar posts. Iqah makes avery confused and somewhat of a scared face reading that. Iqah packs her stuff, stands up andleaves. While leaving, Mimi sees her.Mimi : Eh Iqah, you nak pi mana?Iqah : Sorry Mimi, I nak gerak dulu. (she leaves)Mimi : Iqah! Iqah!Mimi calls out to her but Iqah does not turn back at all.7
Scene 5Location: Iqah’s HouseThe scene starts with a quick montage of Iqah preparing her living room for the Tarot Readingsession. She then sits at the chair and waits for a customer. Time passes by, no one has comein. Iqah keeps looking at the time, and she starts to feel bored.Suddenly, a guy, who looks drunk comes in, and Iqah looks happy to finally have a customer.She preps herself, and greets the customer.Iqah : Selamat datang, silakan duduk. Apa yang encik ingin tahu?Drunk Guy : Takde apa-apa. Aku datang ni nak bagitau je, cukup-cukuplah scam orang tu.Aku taknak orang-orang kawasan ni kena tipu dengan kau. Pakaian dahlahmacam badut, ada hati nak ambil kesempatan kat orang. Dah lah.Iqah does not know how to react. Before she could reply, the guy already left the room.However, thinking that she will not have any customers for the night, she cleans up and closesher door.8
Scene 6Location: Iqah’s BedroomIqah is lying on her bed. She looks at her phone and sees the posts about her again. Annoyed,she turns her phone off and puts it aside.An hour passes by and she is still not asleep. Iqah keeps on looking at her clock. Tired ofwaiting to feel sleepy, Iqah gets up. A few moments later, she comes back to her bed with herTarot Cards in hand. She wants to try and pass time and entertain herself. She spreads thecards on her bed and starts the ritual. She collects the spread out cards and arranges them intoa deck. She puts down three cards and said,Iqah : Dari 22, tiga dipilih. Dengan ini, nasib ditilik. (snaps fingers)Before Iqah could flip up the cards, she hears a noise coming from her kitchen.Iqah is scared, but she goes to check anyway. Not letting go of the Tarot Deck, Iqah slowlyapproaches the kitchen. Peeking into the kitchen, Iqah catches a glimpse of a white clothswaying in there. She backs up, starts breathing heavily and takes a peek again. This time, shemakes sure to do more than a quick glance, and look at everything in the kitchen. Turns out, thewhite cloth was just her towel that she forgot to take inside. A window was also open so thewind blew it and some things fell down, which made the noise.Iqah breathes a sigh of relief. Just then, a white hand suddenly grabs her shoulder from behindher. Iqah screams and drops the Tarot Card that she was holding. She looked behind her anddid not see anything or anyone there. Iqah, breathing heavily again and in a state of shock,realizes she dropped her Tarot Cards. To her surprise, all the cards in the deck have changed,they're the same three cards from her previous nightmare. She could not believe her eyes. Shetries picking them up one by one, but all of them are the same three cards.After that, she sees outside the window, a figure standing and staring at her. This was the sameold woman that appeared in her nightmare before. However, this time, she can see the woman’sface clearly. The face was scary and creepy, and Iqah screams. Then the screen cuts to black.9
Scene 7Location : Iqah’s houseIt is early morning (around 8am), Mimi is in front of Iqah’s house. She knocks and calls for Iqah.Mimi : Iqah! Iqah! (she knocks on the door)Then Mimi tries to open the door herself. To her surprise, it is not locked. She then enters thehouse.Mimi : Iqah? You kat mana?Mimi then sees Iqah lying on the couch, sleeping. Her living room is a mess. Mimi is worried ifsomething bad happened to Iqah.Mimi : Iqah! Iqah! Bangun. Iqah!Iqah : (starting to wake up) Huh… Mimi?Mimi : Weh kenapa messy tempat you ni. You call I tengah-tengah pagi tadikenapa? Huh Iqah? You okay ke tak?The scene that cuts to Iqah holding a hot glass of coco. She is also wrapped in a blanket. Mimienters with a hot bowl of porridge.Mimi : Nah makan ni.Iqah : Apa yang berlaku ni Mimi, aku tak faham la.Mimi : Takpe-takpe. Kita figure out sama-sama. Sekarang you duduk je sini andmakan. I tolong kemas tempat ni.Iqah can barely stand. She also has a headache again, just like before. Iqah looks out thewindow, then massages her head. While Mimi is cleaning up, Iqah walks to the door and said,Iqah : Mimi, aku nak keluar jap. Aku rasa tak tahan duduk dalam rumah ni.Mimi : Eh, you rehat lah, buat apa nak jalan-jalan.Iqah : Kau jangan risau sangat lah Mimi, lagipun sekejap je. Aku perlukan udara segarkat luar.10
Mimi : Hmm okay lah, tapi hati-hati tau. Nah ni ubat haritu, you minum bagi kurangsakit.Mimi then leaves to clean up the house. Iqah is about to drink the medicine, but she is stillfeeling uncoordinated, and trips on an object. The medicine spills on the floor. She was gonnacall Mimi but seeing her busy, Iqah just puts the small cup down and walks outside.11
Scene 8Location: Outside a storeIqah is seen sitting beside a store, scrolling through her phone. She sees a bunch of postscalling her a scammer and also crazy. Her face loses all hope, and she is also on the verge oftears.Just then, a lady comes out of the store, but pauses for a moment, before resuming walkingpast her. She does not pay attention at first. But she then takes a second look and noticessomething. She walks up to the lady, wanting to talk to her. The lady, realizing that Iqah iscoming to her, walks even faster. Iqah also picks up the pace and keeps on calling her but thelady starts running. They both run until the lady collapses on the floor because she isexhausted.Lady : (while catching her breath) Kejap.. kejap.. jangan pukul aku, tolong janganpukul.Iqah : Kau….Kau!Iqah : Kau yang kacau hidup aku kebelakangan ni. Kau hantu yang asyik ganggu akudekat rumah. Kan?! Tapi…kau bukan hantu. Baik kau bagitau sekarang kau nisiapa, sebelum aku.!! (Iqah raised her hand)Lady : Okay-okay, aku bagitau, aku bagitau.The lady takes a deep breath, and begins talking.Lady : Ya, memang aku lah hantu yang kau nampak dekat rumah kau, dekat mimpikau, dekat mana-mana lah. Aku yang buat kau rasa kacau bilau selama ni. Tapi!Ni semua bukan aku yang buat. Aku ni pelakon, ada orang upah aku.Iqah : Siapa??!!Lady : Aku tak tahu, aku tak tahu. Sumpah tak tahu. Aku tak pernah jumpa dia. Dia]cuma mesej aku, dan masukkan duit dalam bank aku. Dia suruh aku pakaimakeup creepy-creepy, pakai baju buruk dan pergi rumah kau, kacau kau.Iqah : Tapi, yang aku alami tu, memang rasa macam mimpi buruk yang jadi realiti. Akurasa macam hantu tu betul-betul hantu. Sekadar makeup dan baju buruk manacukup.Lady : Ya, aku pun fikir benda sama. Aku takut je kau datang pukul aku, waktu aku jadihantu. Tapi dia cakap, dia akan bagi racun kat kau, supaya kau berhalusinasi.12
Iqah : Racun? Aku ni selalu hati-hati bila terima makanan dari orang. Macam manaboleh kenaThat moment, Iqah realizes all the time Mimi has given her water and medicine. (flashback) Shecan not believe her own thoughts and is left speechless. She then leaves the lady and runsaway back to her house.13
Scene 9Location: Iqah’s houseIqah arrives at her house, catching her breath because she was running the whole time. Sheopens the door slowly so as to not alert Mimi that she was there. She walks sneakily, and seesMimi in the kitchen almost done with the cleaning. Not far from her is a knife. Iqah slowlyapproaches the knife to grab it, but she hit something and it falls to the floor, making a noise.Mimi turns around and sees Iqah.Mimi : Eh Iqah. Bila you sampai? I tak sedar langsung.Iqah kept quiet, she's looking at Mimi straight in the eye, but also at the knife near her.Mimi : Iqah? Kenapa ni?Mimi notices that Iqah keeps looking at the knife, and that she is slowly approaching it. Iqahthen stopped for a few seconds before suddenly rushing to grab the knife. Mimi however, grabsIqah’s hand before she can reach it. They both struggle and push each other for a while untilthey are both in the living room. When they are separated, Mimi shouts.Mimi : Berhenti Iqah!Iqah : Kau jangan nak suruh aku berhenti. Selama ni kau racun aku! Kau pengkhianat!Penipu!Just then, a voice comes from the nearby the door. The voice of a man.Vasan : Dey, dey apa ni bising-bising, tuduh-tuduh ni.The man appears to be same man that went to Iqah a year ago.Iqah : K-kau..!Vasan : Eh, hang berani nak tuduh dia penipu. Hang sendiri scammer terpuji, bukanpenipu ka? Ha? Madam Aniqah? Aku tak tau lah macam mana hang dapat taupasal racun tu, tapi alang-alang, aku bagitau je lah terus. Ya, memang si Mimi nibekerja dengan aku untuk bagi racun ni kat hang. Aku nak bagi hang ni jadiseolah-olah orang gila. Supaya customer-customer hang dah tak percaya kathang.Iqah : Tapi.. kenapa..?14
Vasan : Kenapa? (laughs) hang mesti tak ingat kat aku. Dasar scammer. Aku datang kathang tahun lepas mintak tilik pasal business. Konon kalau invest benda ni bendatu boleh berjaya. Last-last, macam pelaq.Vasan approaches Iqah and grabs her by the hair. He grits his teeth while saying,Vasan : Sebab hang lah company aku dah bankrupt. Sebab hanglah duit aku dah takdak. Sebab hang lah, isteri aku tinggalkan aku, dengan anak-anak aku sekali diaambik.Iqah screams in pain. Vasan lets go of her and Iqah falls to the floor, crying.Vasan : Amoi, gi ambik ubat tu. Bawak sini.Iqah : Mimi, dia paksa kau buat semua ni ke? Dia upah kau?Vasan : Hahahaha. Paksa? Please lah. Eh si Mimi ni, partner-in-crime aku yangterpaling function sekali.Iqah : Betul ke Mimi?Mimi takes a deep breath, and looks at Iqah in disgust.Mimi : You ingat kita ni kawan ke? Dengan perangai you yang layan I macam sampah.You rasa kenapa you tak ada kawan lain selain I. Tak ada orang yang sanggupjadi kawan you. I cuma bertahan jadi kawan you sebab nak revenge kat you je.Iqah is speechless.Mimi : Kenapa you terkejut? You ingat I tak tau apa yang you buat dengan Keong(exMimi). Lepas I break up dengan dia, you suka chat dia, call dia. You tak sedar(starts crying), tapi satu hari I nampak you keluar dari hotel, lepastu tak lamaKeong pun keluar .You rasa apa I rasa?? Kawan I sendiri buat I macam tu.Mimi wipes her tears and gives the bottle of poison that she's been giving Iqah all this time toVasan.Vasan : Amoi, pegang tangan dia kuat-kuat. Jangan bagi lepas.Iqah : Jangan! Jangan! Jangannn.Vasan : Dey, hang ni sedar diri sikit lah. Dah buat salah kat orang, sekarang kenabalasan balik lah.15
Vasan forces Iqah to drink the whole bottle. Though Iqah struggles, she can not fight back. Afterthe bottle is empty, Mimi lets go of her.The whole battle made Iqah extremely dizzy. She also starts hallucinating immediately. Shesees a lot of white figures. Every time she walks, a white figure stands in front of her, scaring herand causing her to walk away. The clean house gets messy again because of her. Watchingthis, Vasan laughs while recording her behaviour.Vasan : Hahahaha. Sekarang ni, satu dunia akan tau yang scammer Madam Aniqah nidah jadi gila. Kau rasa lah apa yang kami rasa. HahahaIqah keeps walking until she goes outside.Vasan : Ni kalau aku upload ni mesti viral gila-gila punya. Eh amoi, gi tengok si Iqah tupegi mana. Satgi lari pulak.Mimi walks out of the door but she can not find where Iqah is. Then she sees Iqah standing inthe middle of the road.Iqah, who was still hallucinating, keeps on seeing white figures everywhere. Then she sees onthe floor, a Tarot card. It was The Death. When she looks up, the Old Woman from beforestands right in front of her, staring with a very creepy face. Iqah is frozen in place because ofshock.Mimi : Iqah!!Mimi’s voice brought her out of the hallucination. But before she could move, a car hit her. Mimiis shocked. She runs towards Iqah. The car that hit her drives away. Hearing the noise, Vasanalso comes out, and sees Iqah lying on the road. Realizing what had happened, he said,Vasan : Oh shit. Shit shit shit.Mimi : Eh tolong lah sini!Vasan : Aku nak hancurkan hidup dia ja…. Bukan nak bunuh dia…Mimi : Kita masih boleh selamatkan dia, you call ambulance la.Vasan : Dey bodoh ke? Kita call ambulance, kita yang kena tangkap.Mimi : Habistu, takkan nak biarkan je dekat sini?Vasan : You tolong lah kalau nak tolong, aku nak blah! (He runs away)16
Mimi : Weh!! Tak guna!!Mimi : Iqah.. Iqah…Iqah : Mi…mi..Mimi : Iqah!! Sabar ya Iqah, nanti I panggil ambulance datang. You tahan ya.Iqah : Mi..mi.. Aku… mintak maaf…Mimi : (cries) I mintak maaf jugak. I tak berniat nak buat sampai macam ni.Iqah : Mi..Iqah sees the white figures all standing behind Mimi. Her body then shuts down due to loss ofblood, while Mimi continues crying.The End(Optional Ending Scene/Post-Credits Scene)Vasan enters a car and drives away as fast as he can. At some point he tries to break, but thebreak fails to work.Vasan : Asal tak boleh break ni. (He keeps on kicking) Jangan macam-macam asal takboleh break (He screams)Suddenly, a tarot card appears on the windshield of the car. Vasan looks at it for a briefmoment, before crashing his car into oncoming traffic.17
