Everybody Hurts is in 6/8 time – giving it a swaying feel. You’ll need a strong tone and precise rhythm when strumming or plucking the D7 and G7 chord shapes at the end of
the track, but be careful not to keep the offbeat chords (e.g. bar 41, beat ‘4&’) lighter than those on the downbeats. Don’t be tempted to rush when the song gets louder!
