ELAINE YEW | Global Partner, Egon Zehnder

Elaine Yew is a member of Egon Zehnder’s Global Executive Committee. Elaine’s work
is focused on senior level executive search and leadership development, specifically the

succession planning for CEO and other C-level positions. She also leads the firm’s
advisory work on board effectiveness and Non-Executive Director searches in the
region. Elaine joined Egon Zehnder in 2000 in London and spent her first nine years

with the firm there, developing the private equity practice in Europe.

Before joining the firm, Elaine helped to lead an industry change management program
while at Global Freight Exchange, the world’s first internet-based global marketplace
for air cargo. Prior to that, she was Executive Director with Goldman Sachs in the
European Equities Division, based in London. Earlier, she was a Consultant with

Monitor Company, working across Europe with clients in diverse sectors. She started her
career with the Singapore Economic Development Board where she was at the centre of

early regionalization work, helping Singapore companies develop their presence in
Indochina and Myanmar in the early 1990’s.

Elaine serves on the Board of Trustees of the National University of Singapore and
chairs the Industry Advisory Board of NUS’ Centre for Future-Ready Graduates. She is

on the independent Nominating Committee of BW Offshore, listed on the Norwegian
Stock Exchange. She also serves on the Board of Governors of the Convent of the Holy
Infant Jesus group of schools in Singapore, and on the Board of Leap Philanthropy Ltd,
a humanitarian organization focused on Indochina rural communities. She serves on the
Lifelong Learning Council, set up by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency,

and also on the “Future Jobs & Skills” sub-committee of the Committee for Future
Economy.

CHANDRAN NAIR | CEO, Global Institute of Tomorrow
Chandran Nair is the Founder and CEO of the Global Institute For Tomorrow (GIFT),

an independent pan-Asian think tank based in Hong Kong focused on advancing a
deeper understanding of global issues including the shift of economic and political
influence from the West to Asia, the dynamic relationship between business and society,

and the reshaping of the rules of global capitalism.
Chandran is a regular speaker at the World Economic Forum (WEF), APEC Summits,
OECD events and various UN conferences. He is a member of WEF’s Global Agenda

Council on Governance for Sustainability.
Chandran was chairman of Environmental Resources Management (ERM) in Asia

Pacific until 2004, establishing the company as Asia’s leading environmental
consultancy.

He has served as Adjunct Professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and
Technology and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in Singapore. He is a fellow

of the Royal Society of Arts.
Chandran is the author of Consumptionomics: Asia's Role in Reshaping Capitalism and
Saving the Planet which was ranked as one of the top-fifty breakout capitalism books by
The Guardian and has been translated into Chinese, German and Bahasa. He is also the
creator of The Other Hundred, a non-profit book project which serves as a counterpoint

to the Forbes 100 and other media rich lists.

LOREN SHUSTER | Chief Commercial Officer, Lego Group
Loren joined the LEGO Group in 2015 as Chief Commercial Officer. Loren has
extensive experiences in sales, marketing and general management. He has led the
expansion of global businesses into emerging markets and has been a core driver in

building digital capabilities across multiple industries.
Prior to joining the LEGO Group, Loren was responsible for driving revenue and
product innovation for Google’s You Tube business in Asia. Before Google, Loren spent

the majority of his career at Nokia in a variety of roles ultimately leading to
responsibility for Nokia’s Marketing and Go-to-Market activities globally.

Loren holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University (1992), an MBA from

MRS NOOR QUEK | Founder & CEO, NQ International

Noor Quek has almost 40 years of experience in a broad range of banking and financial
services with various established institutions. Her previous positions, all based in

Singapore, with regional responsibilities, include being Director and Head, Business
Development (South East Asia), The Citigroup Private Bank, Director, Business

Development (South East Asia), GE Capital and Deputy Managing Director, Rabobank
Asia Ltd (Merchant Bank);

Her main area of expertise is in initiating, negotiating and facilitating implementation
of wealth advisory and financial transactions. This has evolved from her extended years

in the industry where she has managed account relationships and lead teams, for
international high networth individuals, families and corporations. She is a

speaker/moderator in major international conferences on global wealth advisory and
family office advisory matters.

She is based in Singapore and founded NQ International in October 2007. NQ
International Pte Ltd's not-for-profit activities include various charity-related activities

which Noor is actively involved with.

Noor is currently, among others, a founding member and current President of Breast
Cancer Foundation, a Board Member of The Ireland Fund, Singapore Chapter, Board

Member, ISCA Cares (Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants), member of the
Woman's Health Advisory Council, Singapore, and a was joint co-chairman of

BoardAgender in Singapore, and a member of the inquiry committee of the Singapore

Mitesh is Managing Director of Black & Veatch’s management consulting practice
covering Southeast Asia, India and MENA region. He helps investors, developers and

With more than 20 years of experience across the life-cycle of power projects, from
project development to asset management, Mitesh has worked throughout Asia across all

Mitesh has prior worked with General Electric, Shell and Reliance among other major

Singapore, which assists students in developing their fullest potential. In January 2016,

DR GREGOR LANGE | Clinical Director TELL, Clinical Supervisor, Consultant
Clinical Psychologist

Gregor is a German-born, Irish- and American trained clinical psychologist.
His work experiences include working in public health care services (Ireland), private
clinics (Ireland, USA, Vietnam), and lecturing at Universities (Ireland & Singapore). He

has also worked as an independent consultant, researcher, and author.
Gregor has been working with children, families, couples and individual adults with a
variety of problems for more than 10 years. His work includes helping diverse people

deal with difficult emotions, family and relationship problems, stress, and other
psychological or behavioural difficulties.

He has integrated various mindfulness practices into his work (e.g. ACT) and completed
the MBCT teacher training with the Oxford Mindfulness Centre. He also developed and
taught a module on Mindful Psychology at NUS and he has been involved in developing

create his own company Rested Edge Advisory at the age of 40, he was Managing
Partner of Gallup SIN, HK and South-East Asia and seemingly at the top of his
career, but Peter wanted to do something different from a standard corporate career –he
wanted to create and build Rested Edge Advisory (his company) and One Dream
Initiative (his charity), both at the same time, whilst striving for his KPI in 9 words –

“Do best work, build best home, live best life”.
Time flies, Rested Edge Advisory is 6 years old, with 51 clients, of which 6-8 are active
