QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM (QAP)



John Medeiros Jewelry is not only beautiful, but durable. Each piece goes through a vigorous twenty step process during
production to ensure every creation is a quality piece of bridge jewelry. Our Quality Assurance Program is our pledge to deliver
lifelong products when handled properly. Our handcrafted jewelry is created with a base premium alloy and is finished with
14K Gold and Rhodium. Rhodium is a derivative of platinum and is considered a precious metal that is rare and valued. John
Medeiros Jewelry pledges to the original consumer against manufacturing defects in the workmanship of our product.

The Quality Assurance Program does not cover items that are non-manufacturing defects in the workmanship of our jewelry,
such as finish discoloration resulting from improper care, negligence, wear and tear, lost items, accidental damages or other
factors not due to defects in the workmanship. Most items may possibly be restored to its original condition for a modest
maintenance fee. Some breakage/damages/wear may not be repairable or restored to its near original condition. Materials used
such as synthetic pearls, man made pearls and other outsourced materials may be replaced under our service fee.


Step by Step Warranty Repairs:
All products must be registered at www.johnmedeiros.com/pages/register-your-john-medeiros-jewelry to expedite your
warranty claims.
1. Items must be brought into their local John Medeiros Authorized Retailer who may be able to determine if QAP coverage
applies or obtain authorization to return to the company for inspection. Please note: this applies to registered jewelry only.
Please contact [email protected] or (401)435-4114 and request the Repair department at ext. 123. You may leave a
message if no one is available to take your call. We will get back to you within 1-2 business days. We will need the following
to expedite your request:
• Item Number
• Explanation of the problem with the item returning
• Retail Store name, Contact person, Phone number
2. Following an approved Return Authorization (RA#) you will be asked to send your John Medeiros piece(s) to our
manufacturing headquarters. When received, the piece(s) will go through an evaluation process by our knowledgeable staff
in the Repairs Department. Please keep in mind all unauthorized RA’s will be sent back to sender; this policy is to avoid
confusion and merchandise being lost during this process. This policy is to better service you and our consumer to ensure proper
procedures are followed. Please do not replace the merchandise for your customer with another item in stock. John Medeiros
will not give a credit, but we are happy to repair the item.

Care Instructions:

Wipe clean using only a soft, dry cotton cloth to remove all oils and abrasives after wear. Do not use any chemicals, polishing
cloths or ultrasonic jewelry cleaners, as this will affect your warranty.
• Avoid perfumes, salt water and chlorinated water.
• Remove before bathing. Avoid prolonged contact with any surface water .
• Store your jewelry in the John Medeiros pouch or free of contract with other items.

Policies







Minimum Order Quantities
The minimum order quantity is 4 pieces. The minimum for new collections will be collection-dependent and will be noted

on order sheets.

Add-Ons To Orders In-House
Last minute additions to orders in-house will be accommodated as a separate order meeting the 3-4 pc minimum requirement,
dated for two weeks delivery. The add-ons will be shipped with the original in-house order only if the items and quantities
are readily available, not affecting other account orders. Otherwise, that order will be shipped as soon as possible in proper
sequence.

Custom Made Orders

Any items that are not in the current catalog, or are a request for a color or size variation of a current catalog item shall be
considered a custom order. Such orders are a product redesign which may need model work, mold reconfiguration, ordering
non-stick materials and extended labor.
Prices could be higher than the catalog price. Therefore this must start with a request call to customer service specifying the
catalog-listed style number, the specific color or precisely measured size required, date needed by and minimum 6 piece order
per style/color. The request will be researched and approved if all requirements can be met. This will become an order when the
variation, quantity, price and ship date are agreed to in writing by the customer. Custom orders are not returnable.


Delivery Dates
The delivery lead-time required is two weeks. The two week ship date will be a “or sooner” situation providing the fill %
is complete. Orders received, dated to ship sooner than two weeks, will be revised unless approved in advance by Tahoe
Jewelry. Exceptions, mainly occurring at trade shows, are for new collections. A specific start ship date will be provided for the
new collection and a separate order will be required. We will always ship sooner if available.
Incoming orders, that are not credit-authorized when received, will be held for two weeks beyond the original request date. Sales
associates and accounting will be notified the order will be canceled after 5 business days and can be placed again when more
convenient.


Ordering Supplies
Treasure Keepers, Neck Stands, etc., are display items that enhance the John Medeiros brand. To replenish these items, they
must be ordered as line items by the item numbers in minimum pack quantities as indicated in the ‘Specialty Items’ section of
the catalog. Supplies can be ordered as part of a merchandise order or placed independently if in packages. Any displays ordered
from JM must be used solely for the John Medeiros brand.


Authorizing and Charging Orders
When placing orders, all credit cards are pre-authorized for the full amount of the order plus estimated shipping charges. The
card will be charged the day of shipping for the amount of the order being shipped plus freight charges.
